  1. Apologies if this has already been posted, but Peddo's push in the back was dumb football.....he had his opponent done cold, yet when he won the contest, he collapsed straight into his back. Anyhoo, saw Jesse Hogan cruise by as I was enjoying a coldie and he's a big unit....very happy!
  2. Jack's hands are incredible and I can't wait for his return to bolster our line up.
  3. Salem's a beauty. Whitfield's been good, but his body is miles away. Freeman's smooth.
  4. I've always thought it, but I don't want to send myself to the loony bin by thinking about all the fun k ups.
  5. We tend to recruit better in later picks. Too much pressure to get it right??
  6. Oops. You know what I mean...
  7. Of course he'll be compared. no place to hide in the AFL.
  8. Poor pick. Looong line and history of poor picks. All picks must be traded this year...best the known.
  9. Wow! You need a holiday.....
  10. Some excitement? Fresh face?
  11. Thanks autocol, got mine this arvo. Can sink some coin into fortification now
  12. But the disposal? I've seen this bloke miss a leading player by 20 yards....
  13. Toump? Oh, dear......may as well. Casey aint much chop at the moment. What about Evans??
  14. I think this news may allow Ro Bail to step up and tag one of the Bulldogs' midfield. Bring in Sam Blease now to run the lines.
  15. I think that Watts has come a long way since the arrival of Roos - he went hard at two or three physical contests and got up and kept going. You're right about his talent. He's a damaging player and many sides are wary of him.....he's hard to match up against. I was tough on him, but credit is due.
  16. It's not great that Casey isn't the nurturing environment we want it to be..... Dropping a player back there is counter productive to development atm.
  17. Yep, all sensible posts. Still missing a key forward....Jesse Hogan, cometh the hour. JKH needs to play every week - he is a DNA crumber. They ran harder and spread quicker....Scott knew that Roos would try and lock the game down, thus instructing a few players not to scramble. They got a lot of easy 'outs' from stoppages. I'm still unsure of Jordie McK's role in the team.....he still handballs to players who are under extreme pressure. Roll on next week.
  18. Toumpas was a poor pick. Nothing can be done about it now.
  19. I'm not going to dwell on Moloney, or Martin or even Sylvia, etc.At the time when this club was screaming out for leadership, these players were found wanting. Moved on and now floundering.
  20. Karma's a biatch
  21. Oh, God, no...
  22. Many, many retired AFL players often reflect and malign how quickly the end comes for them. Geelong have been at the top of their game for 10 years now and surely their ageing stars are starting to wane? GCS look quite scary....
  23. You're right....I'm glad they're ALL gone!
  24. And took MOTY and concussed Dangerfield. More than Martin ever did...but I'm not going over old ground. Just playing.
  25. Stef Martin is the biggest spud of all time. I'm so glad he's gone.
