I would love to see the detailed plans (if they exist) for the building in this proposal. Floorplan i mean. It would have to be costing millions wouldnt it? With the proposal to dump pokies, that puts us already 10 million or so per year down on income. How on earth does the club expect to pay for it? Obviously, they have a plan or it wouldnt have even been announced. Anyone have some insight on funding, or will the club be back to begging for donations again? I am pumped for this plan and hope like hell it comes to being. MFC hasnt had a place to call home for, well, forever. After tipping both losses against Colonwood and Port, I had us winning all the next 3... Saints Freo and Doggies. Well, that serves me right for arrogantly believing we were a better team than the last couple of games indicated. What right did i have as a MFC supporter to expect that our team was better than a rabble who had only won 2 games this year... I thought we would win comfortably, mainly because StK are rubbish and we are not. Now i would not be remotely surprised if we get rolled by a depleted Freo. OFC i also now expect the Dogs to crush us "Out the back" when we return to Victoria because we wont have any "run" in our legs. Trust = destroyed. Lose either of the next 2 games and we can kiss finals goodbye AGAIN. To be still losing games to a team like StKilda is [censored] disgusting. Hang your head in shame MFC.

We are a much better team than the Saints, and our form isnt as bad as 2 losses from our last 2 games suggests. We have something to prove. Us by 6 goals or more.

Geezus i will have another heart attack if Stretch replaces Plugger. I love the kids dedication, but cant see him making the grade long term. Loved his old mans guts back in the day, but his boy isnt the same quality. Hope one day he makes me eat crow, but until then............

We can COMPETE for sure. The problem is, we haven't found a way to win against the best. Usually im very quick to say how [censored] we are as a team, but after the first few games, i have learned to be a bit slower to judge. Better for my mental health for a start........... Made too many calls based on one bad result in the past. I am more confident we can/will make finals after the Port game then i was beforehand. Expected to get thumped tbh. Fact is, the guys dominated most of the game, but fell over at the last hurdle. ( Rank officiating made our task practically impossible in the last ) Yeah, we should have iced the game by halftime, but I still saw enough to honestly believe we are good enough. We will win the next 3, and i think we will beat Sydney (They will be our BIG scalp), and GWS. If i was being my usual self and playing it safe emotionally, i would be in the "We are screwed" camp. Not now. Im not giving up hope until there is none left. GO DEES!
