    For some who had never watched the woman's game it took a while to recalibrate to a lower standard game. I think once you accept the the skills aren't the same then you enjoy the game for what it is.

    Our disposal out of the backline is already bad enough. T Mac is terrible by foot, o mac is inexperienced and panics and vince has brain fades. Not sure we want to add to this with smith

    If Melbourne come out to play with 4 qtrs of intensity and ruthlessness then we will win. Anything short of that then we won't

    Swans played an undermanned side however if the saints bring the same pressure as they did in the second half then we are going to struggle. there is no room for errors at etihad and saints tackle in packs, causing pressure on our disposal and turnovers. our skills aren't good enough yet to stop these turnovers. Saints however are also not at top level for disposal. if we can out match their intensity then we are every chance of winning. Any less then our best won't get us over the line

    Have you seen who is lining up against the saints. I would say at least 6-7 players who won't be there round 1. Saints playing a full list minus Monty. Cameron, heyword, fox, foot, melican. Hewett, smith, marsh,florent

    Terrible rule. How can the umpire guess what the player is thinking? They should be trying to get rid of 'grey' rules. Instead they expect the umpire to be a mind reader. even worse it that you are dealing with an unpredictable ball. Intent is based on the randomness of a ball bounce. Wellingham descision was a perfect example. it will cost a team a final one day

    This weeks squad is at least 80% the same players that will play in round 1. If you think the saints are raging favorites maybe you should put your money where your mouth is. At $1.70 Melbourne are strong favorites

    Their defense was lacking last year with tall backs. Carlisle and brown have sured this up. I think Roos had no idea how to beat them. Goodwins game plan might play the saints better

    Gws have lost picks 2,3,12 from 2012 draft. pick 4 and 10 from 2011 Pick 1 and 14 from 2013. Griffith for Boyd is a loss in my opinion. Picks 4 and 7 from 2014 draft have never played a game. Ahern and pickett That would decimate any other side but GWS have been boosted by the academy picks from the riverina. That has to stop. No way can they claim kids north of the murray. These kids would have played AFL regardless if GWS was around

    You can't compare neeld with Bolton. Firstly Bolton is a better communicator and the players actually like him. Secondanly he has a game plan that can win games. Admittedly it's the Hawks game plan however I'd much prefer this game style to what ever neeld tried to bring to the MFC

    Don't think he is injured. Must have turned up late to training or off field indiscretion... need to make an example as a club

    He runs a Billion dollar organisation... his paycheck only reflects this.

    I think this side is about right. Smith would need to play 2 more good game practice games to be in contention. Frost would probably take his spot. the players sitting at 25-30 are trangove, ANB, JKH, Kennedy, Garland, Weid I think only trengove and Weid have a real chance from this group.

    We have gotten rid of a lot of the dead wood. Most of our starting 22 would get games at the top clubs. Wasn't the case over the last decade

    Really like Vince and Lewis marshaling the troops in defense... good by foot and have smart footballers. Will really help our defensive setup this year

    Dogs didn't have more than 2-3 players missing from premiership side. The bont is a big out but so is watts for us. I think Liam picken is jnjured and wouldn't have played anyway
