  1. How are the players feeling? Obvs not happy but...
  2. Never ever ever ever give a player in the late 20s, let alone a player like Viney who is prone to injure and the way they play, a contract of length. Most players are done by 30/31 nowadays sadly.
  3. Of course there are qs, same as with 80% of the players. Hindsight is amazing!!
  4. Trade value?
  5. Best of luck Jack, what a career!
  6. On a whim... lol. There was no considered, thought out review of the new contract by the Footy Dept and Board... Almost like your post.
  7. Lol outstanding year...
  8. Best of luck guys!
  9. what?! no more tiktoks?! Ruthless Dees indeed.
  10. The Cockatoo-Collins boys?
  11. Didn’t someone of note at Melb, recently say the club needed to grow up... hhhmmmm.
  12. LoL a big footy rumour.... nothing “breaking” in the newspapers yet.
  13. If it was the 80s, early to mid 90s you’d say he might have been ok, some crucial spoils in today, a couple of handballs that found a Dees player...... otherwise it’s hard to find a positive for Smithers.
  14. What an absolute terrible human he is. I hope for an inglorious downfall. “Toorak, Malvern and Prahran are barracking hard” lols. What a stereotype you are Ed, you live in the posh suburbs.
  15. Make his role redundant?
  16. Not many comments re Pert being the wrong guy in this thread.
  17. What’s Josh got in the smoker? What have the Dees players and coaches got left to deliver this season? What will it matter by the end of the round?
  18. Lol no.
  19. [censored] you Dees and [censored] you GWS you hack, tinpot, farce of a club.
  20. Well done Gary Pert. https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/814329/
  21. Hurley back in.... guh that is not ideal for our shaky talls. Wasnt Redman taken with one of the picks we gave up for Melky? He’s looks a decent player.
  22. I’d say zero clubs could afford it in the current climate. No one knows what the Covid future holds for us let alone sporting entities where clubs in Aust are generally not billionaire owed like the US or UK. Even being billionaire owned most sports entities world wide are contracting, non playing staff wise dramatically/looking to reduce as much cost from the business as possible.
  23. Looks like the end of an era with Jones and Jetts on the way out sadly. Positive change with Hibbs run and skills.
