The venue itself is a great place to watch a match, the crowd is a different story, but this time you get to be the smug premiership winning wnker supporter, how good.

No it doesn't, if the positives of playing his role outweigh the negatives of that one error. As many have said there are minimal changes each week, Lever is one of our best defenders so yes Smith is likely to make way for him but it won't be for that one error. (as Kate Roffey said "We're not that team any more").

I mentioned in game day but seeing it live the closing speed of our defenders is very impressive. Hunt and Smith have limitations for sure but I don't see them going out for another player who doesn't have the same ability to close down space or spoil that puts huge pressure on the opposition. We can wear some slip ups from those 2 but we can't replace the value of the above. The Tomo's and maybe Hibbs become back ups and only come in for injuries.

And it’s set! Is it me or does it feel like there are more than normal average to below average teams this year. Only a handful of teams that are good and 2ish that are at the point of it all.

We took the kids to Anzac service in our country town followed by a trip to the RSL with some friends, a Hawks mate and his new mate…. Ess w a nker, he said at one point “oh see how all of these Dees fans are all up and about, how annoying. I said “listen sunshine you and old Hawks over here have seen what 4 or 5 flags in your life… we’ve seen 1 so GO F K YOURSELVES! (With a massive grin on my face and a laugh hahaha) Fair to say we’ll not be mates.

First half Hunt tagged him, second half we went back to team defence. Bolton has the ability to influence in the first half and then fade out, Hunt did a great job on him, Rivers gave him a chop out in the second while he had a rest.

Happy to have the discussion, seeing him live for his size/position he doesn’t affect the contest enough/has so little presence.

I snuck into the Rich reserved seated area and had an enjoyable evening. They were up and about early, loved the umps but boy did things turn for them and how enjoyable (relaxing) it was to know the turn was coming but just when…. Who this time will swing it… the defence will slow/ stop them and then who will swing it fwd for whoever to snag them. What a team, tell them to enjoy it, relax we’ve got this, ugly is a beautiful win we didn’t have and we’ll not ever kick badly on goal again. What a time to be alive.
