The healthy ego of Paul Roos and our current plight.
He should have stayed if he wanted the team in his image. Itâs up to Goody and co now.

Wise good clubs can plug in for a Hannan or AVB (who has played bugger all footy) seriously it is an indictment or our club that we canât find a replacement for those 2. Where is Tracc stepping up to do part of what both of those guys do? Where is ANB taking another step up? Tmac is what top 5 paid at the club now... he needs to improve dramatically. Heâs worthless to us as a nullifying, fumbly, puts his team mates under pressure defender at that price. Weid.... how has he not learnt to not run under the ball? Where is his presenting up at the ball? Is it a symptom of the just bomb it fwd kick under pressure or not? Its depressing that weâre a fair chance to be bottom of the ladder by tomorrow night. PS itâs a wasted season.... a terrible waste of a season a year of a career for these players.

Very pessimistic about this one, side on paper looks average at best. Our form is putrid and doesnât look like turning around tonight. There is a real chance Lynch, Higgins and Dusty could kick 20 goals between them. Dees wonât kick 10 goals for the game.

Werenât they just!! Frank is a total loon. Saw them at BDO and loved it. Was the Festy Hall gig in support of someone else? Have a vague recollection of a couple of gigs there.. Parkway, Hatebreed and canât remember if Gallows was support.

I recall it being said on here the club got everyone who had an issue/niggle into surgery this off season. Thinking being 2020 is our window. As always, grain of salt but if true seems very odd. The other thing Iâve struggle with over the last few years is this desire to get a player up for round 1. It means nothing, just get the player right and up to as much fitness as possible to play a game whenever that is. Get the fittest/best/readiest for game plan team on the park in rnd 1. Donât force a Jones or Viney into the side it doesnât seem to work these days (unless the player is in the real top echelon).

Must be the only player in the AFL with OP. MFCSS.

Old misery turns up. Every time I see his name I think of this Gallows song called Misery. Listening to it again just now I think the last part of it relates to us Dees fans, stuck in the Misery of the Dees. But I still love us/canât break free. PS long intro, kicks in around 1m 33s.

Iâm on record on here of being bullish on Weid and still think he will be a good player. In saying that ffs he runs under the ball at almost ever opportunity and then seems to just finger tip marking opps. Maybe he needs OPSM?

I took my 3yr old boy thinking Iâd get a half or 3qtrs maybe. He was bored by the first bounce, we lasted a qtr before walking the concourses for most of second qtr before heading to the kids play area. He bloody loved it, then found the trains and trams so we wandered over for a look.... by the time he was bored of that it was time to head home. Had a ripping day. PS we are slow of run and worst of all of mind. We canât think our way around a press. We donât have players who work hard enough to do so either. Weâre still way light on with injuries but worst of all we look like we missed the boat on tactics around 666 and didnât train/draft/trade for it. Saints looked good, people say you donât need pace itâs all about ball movement but I tells ya from the qtr I saw the pace of the Saints players really closed us down and our lack of pace to be able to break away from a contest was stark. What a horrible lost season, like ffs Dees just get your sh it together and keep it together.

Round 5 Non MFC games
Is it just me or has footy been a real tough watch this year? So many whistles, horrible defensive zoning, slow play, poor skills. Just a real hard watch.
