I’m sure a couple of years ago when all the players wanted to leave, they couldn’t attract free agents one of the major issues was the behind the times training and recovery facilities. Amazing how things turn around in a few years...

That’s not what you said and you know it.... Clarkson can make a silk purse out of a sows ear and can sell it high to anyone. Nope Wright does the bargaining so he should get the credit for the overselling whether the coach “has a say” or not.

That’s also what you want as a footy club, if you can push up a players wages/contract years that eats into the other clubs salary cap structure then even if you don’t sign said player it can be a bonus outcome.
