  1. Leading WC coaching candidate Steven King collapsed at Cats training this morning. Hope he’s alright. Interestingly WC put out the following statement. “The West Coast Eagles are aware of a medical episode involving Geelong assistant coach and Senior Coach candidate Steven King at the Cats’ training session this morning. Our thoughts are with Steven, his family and the Geelong Football Club. Steven's health is the priority, and we wish him a speedy recovery.”
  2. Great to see Gus will be there on the night. Fantastic news.
  3. Christian will be attending the Red Bull training camp overseas rather than attending the B&F. Melbourne will look back on their 2024 season at the club’s best and fairest count in early October, but Christian Petracca won’t be there. JAY CLARK explains why. Why Petracca will skip Demons’ B&F
  4. He also took a mark of the year candidate during this time which was overhead. I just don’t think he’s quick enough.
  5. This thread will be an interesting read in mid July next year I reckon. For better or worse. Regardless, Goody is under the pump.
  6. Could Dees join Macrae race? Jay Clark believes he would be perfect for us and would takeover the Angus Brayshaw role.
  7. It comes down to a clear branding strategy by the club. The club has the persona of Range Rover driving, tweed jacket wearing, skiing holidays, etc and while it may only apply to a small majority, if you ask opposition supporters, that’s what they reference. Although people could see this as a negative, it can be used as a positive by having some fun with it through on our social media channels. I think the club is too safe with its communication and needs to make some ripples by dancing on the edge of tongue-in-cheek messaging and not shying away from the way we’re perceived. They need to become edgy.
  8. Don’t like either team however I’m on the Bears tonight as I like Fagan. This could quickly change if I have to hear “Country Road” on repeat tonight.
  9. It was in response to kicking skills. JNM’s comment was vague in itself. My god people are sensitive in regards to Clarry on this site 😆
  10. When was the last time Clarry hit anyone lace out in our forward line on purpose?
  11. The umpiring in the game is putrid. If the Dragons defenders touch a player in the defensive 50 it is an automatic free kick. Don't mind the look of Andrews.
  12. Yes, must remember to wear my glasses when posting. Blind as a bat 😀
  13. My understanding is that he has signed a deal for $12 million over 8 years at lunch last Wednesday. It is yet to be announced. My source said he will be staying with the Suns. Don’t shoot the messenger.
  14. My understanding is you can forget about Mac as he isn’t going anywhere.
  15. If he wants to go back to WA, we should be hunting Oscar Allen as part of the deal. Would be a great get.
  16. He spoke well on issues within the club and what needs to change but for me, he glossed over Christian also being an issue in this. The question was put to him on Christian’s potential selfishness and he gave a short answer and quickly brought it back to having a crack at the club. I’m not saying he’s incorrect re the club, I just think his opinion of Christian maybe a little too high.
  17. We need to throw everything at Peter Jackson to come back to the club and also make a major play for Graham Wright.
  18. Don’t worry guys, we’re in good hands with Tim Lamb sorting this out on the trade front 🤦🏼‍♂️
