The inclusion of Turner does not excite me. He has been poor in preseason games and I’m still unsure if he can make it as a forward.

Langdon had five second half possessions with 1 tackle. Went missing big time.

The debutants were great today, especially Lindsay however I was also impressed with AJ’s G&D and Henderson's smarts. We tried bloody hard to win that game against a very good opposition. A lot to like but also still some areas that haunt us - basic skills and closing out games.

Salem is the master of the suicide kick. How many team mates is he going to burn?

Windsor was lagging off too far then 🤦

Just basic skill errors that have stopped our momentum. Simple things that hopefully can be amended quickly.

Henderson is a smart footballer. Is making some great decisions under pressure.

AJ is a battler and has deserved a spot for round one.

The number of basic handballs and kicks that have fallen short is alarming and slows our ball movement down. A lot of them aren’t pressure related either.

It was great however his two long kicks into the forward line didn’t favour our forwards at all.

Rivers has been bog ordinary. Looks like he is stuck in two minds between playing back and mid.

Lindsay is looking good. Doesn’t look out of place and has some go.

If we are playing like this for the first ten or so rounds, it will be a very interesting watch to see how the club reacts.
