TEAMS: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
Fairly predictable team I guess, but Tommo is very unlucky imo. Maybe he will be medi-sub, or possibly replace Rick Lever, if he fails a late test before the game.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Very common sense view.

CHANGES: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
We all did, but when he comes back on Saturday evening, he will be in the mood to eat a Sherrin!

POSTGAME : Rd 18 vs Port Adelaide
I thought the following snippet from the Mongrel Punt was as gem, and well worth sharing with Demonland friends: "There were multiple âlittle thingsâ moments that seemed to fall the way of the Dees in this game. Make no mistake â this is not luck. Itâs amazing how the harder you work, the luckier you get, huh?"

PODCAST: Rd 18 vs Port Adelaide
Thanks for another enjoyable poddy folks, and especially for taking the time to canvass the issues confronting our forward line in the absence of TMac.

AFLW: McNamara to miss 2022 season
Gutted for Eliza. Fortunately the prognosis for complete recovery is very positive.

PODCAST: Rd 18 vs Port Adelaide
This is an obvious question, but I think it warrants detailed analysis going into September. Our forward half just isnât working right now, and hasnât for much of the season (or at least since TMac was injured). Do the panel see this as primarily a personnel problem, a form problem, a problem of cohesion, or a problem with our entries? Is it too late in the season to experiment with different personnel? The recent âexperimentsâ (Weid, M.Brown, Melksham, Bedford) havenât borne much fruit.

POSTGAME : Rd 18 vs Port Adelaide
I thought Tomlinson was good, which is significant. He might be needed next week, even with the likely inclusion of Petty. If Iâm not mistaken, Rick Lever winced when he tried to put his arm around a teammates shoulder during the song. It was only a fleeting moment. I think Iâm correct, but obviously hope Iâm wrong.

POSTGAME : Rd 18 vs Port Adelaide
Good teams win when they are well below their best. That was us today! Hopefully itâs a step towards our best.

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Geelong
We were outplayed, pure and simple! Couldnât hold a tackle in the back half when it counted, couldnât hit a target or kick a goal in the front half when it counted. Couldnât win a clearance when it counted. Too many players well below their best.! No excuses! Canât even blame the umps or the 5 day break. Disappointed, but we will learn and regroup. It will be different in September!

GAMEDAY: Rd 17 vs Geelong
The felines might come out of the blocks quicker than us, but we will wrest the ascendency by half time, and play the game on our terms after the break. Another one of those games where, despite a close(ish) score line for much of the game, we will not be seriously challenged. Dees by around 5 goals.

TEAMS: Rd 17 vs Geelong
The composition of our team is exactly what many/most of us predicted. My further prediction is that the final margin in this game will be somewhere between the margin in the last two meetings of these two clubs. Melbourne will be the victors, of course!

Demon Army Cheer Squad
Outstanding effort by the Army on Saturday. I witnessed first hand how vocal they were in support of our mighty Dees. Although outnumbered (maybe) 500:1, they made themselves heard throughout the match, and at one stage late in the game, the MELBOURNE chant is all you could hear around the ground. The Crows and their fans were âdead & buriedâ! Loved it! Well done Army!

PODCAST: Rd 16 vs Adelaide
Thanks guys for another fantastic poddy. Kept Mrs DOF and myself 100% engrossed as we drove from Adelaide to Coonawarra, after spending Saturday arvo watching our mighty Dees at Adelaide Oval. Couldnât agree more with Binâs assessment, that it was a fantastic performance in the context of our season.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - FRASER ROSMAN
From day one he was a âwork in progressâ. As you say Nascent, he hasnât had an ideal start to his career, but in my view, he has definitely earned a contract extension. Jason Taylor doesnât get too any wrong, even with his âspeccyâ picks.

Daniel Turner Extends Until 2024
Seems like a fabulous kid who loves our Club, and has worked his [censored] off to get the most out of himself. A great prospect, and another giant tick for Jason Taylor and his crew.
