  1. Wow McDonald doesn't look like getting near it. Stands under the ball, can't take a contested mark and always seems to be in no man's land.
  2. Yeah but I think not replacing him is a massive reason why our forward line is so disfunctional.
  3. McDonald has no idea what he's doing. He's either behind the defender, standing still or no where near it. How hard is it to lead towards the ball carrier? How hard is it to make a contest and bring the ball to ground.
  4. Ahh clearly you need to get behind our recruiting strategy. Gregson would be a perfect fit on our long term injury list with 4 x surgeries on a troubled left foot. Lets sign him up.
  5. Yep, this kid is pretty darn good and so is Butters. Also watching this game, I see Todd Marshall doing what Weideman should be doing for us. Marshall's not kicking a lot of goals himself but he's creating plenty by bringing the ball to ground.
  6. Another highlights video for new demon Tom Sparrow
  7. Averaging an impressive 32 disposals per game in his eight U18 appearances this year, Nietschke is just the second Bulldog – since Brendan Dew in 2014 – to be voted MVP. Nominated in Round 1 for racking up 39 disposals and 82 per cent efficiency, Nietschke also rose up the ranks to play five Reserves games and make three Macca’s League appearances under premiership mentor Roy Laird. impressive stats
  8. So Port get Burton, Mayes and 2 x First Round Picks #5 & #15 for Wingard and Pick #6 And were struggling to get 1 first round pick for Hogan? What has the world come to?
  9. How many flags did they win with their original teams Ablett (2), Buddy (2), Judd (1).
  10. Any updates? Now the season's over
  11. No way we should trade him, he's kicked 40 goals in 3 out of his 4 playing years, plus he kicked 39 goals (15 games) in the VFL as a 17 year old. He's had a tough run of personal issues and injury. As people have mentioned, KPP take time to hit their prime and that's scary as Hoge's is already a star.
  12. If take 27 and 35 to the draft what type of player would we be targeting? I'd like us to add some midfield speed as our current list is a bit one paced. Would love to see Bonar slide to 27, highly rated junior but recovering from 2 knee reconstructions. Draft Combine Speed Results Smartspeed 20-metre sprint Jack Petruccelle - 2.87 seconds Kane Farrell - 2.90 Aiden Bonar - 2.90 Ben Miller - 2.91 Nick Coffield - 2.91 Ben Paton - 2.95 Brent Daniels - 2.95 Stefan Okunbar - 2.95 Jaidyn Stephenson - 2.95 Nicholas Shipley - 2.97
  13. Rapt to get Lever, we have some serious young talent now Lever, Hunt, Oliver and Petracca in the AFLPA Under 22 team. We can revisit who won this trade in 5 years time.
  14. Massive coup if we get him, confident he will become one of the premier defenders in the coming years. He led average intercepts this season ahead of Rance and Hurley which shows that he reads the play as good as anyone. As for the trade, I don't see why we should have to pay more than what Hawthorn paid for Mitchell which was P10 and swap of late picks. Also similar was the trade for Charlie Dixon which was P10 & Future 2nd Round Pick for Dixon & P49.
  15. The goal against the Hawks is one of my favourite Melbourne memories forever as a kid I would practice running down the wing trying to kick torps towards goal.

  17. AFL website Draft Machine then select McCartin. I'm in the same boat as Sweet Dee.
