Suns, quite reasonably, have said they want a Geelong contracted player to be traded for Ablett so Cats can pay the first $300,000 of that player's 2018 contract. In the end I suspect AFL will want Ablett to return to Cats so a deal will be done for a draft pick.

Given his talents, and that he should be coming into his prime, why are clubs not beating down our door to do a trade?
