This game is simple. Win the midfield/pressure battle and we win. We have the scoring firepower, just need to get the game on our terms. Go Goody, and Go Dees.

Clayton Olivers 50/50 hard ball win that killed Scott Selwood in Q4 in front of the members was a moment I won't forget. What a night!! Great to see so many faithful there

Match Preview and Team Selection - Elimination Final

I'm starting to feel nervy...hope we rock up mentally -
Will never forget the game against Adelaide at Adelaide Oval when he smashed Dangerfield into submission. Was a monumental win for the club, a turning point almost. Also his shirt front on Dale Thomas against Carlton this season was beautiful. All the best Bernie, you will be missed.

Have also heard this, but it is hardly news. The difference this time is we arguably look better structurally without Hoges, and Weid is developing fast. Will be an interesting off season.
-
Great to have this bloke back. Defence line looks so much more settled when he's in
-
What is the purpose of this comparison @jnrmac?
-
I bought one of those 160 year jerseys, what number do I get on the back? It's an impossible decision
-
Our recruiting and development has been top shelf for a few years now. We've killed the draft selections, and it is starting to show on the park.

His contest marking since he entered the league 2015 - 47 (21 games) 2016 - 43 (20 games) 2017 - 10 (10 games) 2018 - 24 (20 games) That is a pretty alarming drop off if you ask me.
-
He does, what has happened to his contested marking though? Remember in 2016 when he tore that Anzac Day Eve game apart? He was clunking everything.
-
He also needs to sort out his set shot technique, it is all over the place.
-
The problem is we have a surplus of what he offers in there, we need outside run and distribution. He has to play forward.
-
Can't see us shafting Hogan like that especially after he has been so loyal to us. This club has changed, we stick together now.
-
At this stage I've got Richmond v Pies Both of these clubs match us on the inside and have a clean pair of heels on the outside. Would love to be proven wrong but we got pasted in our match ups against them earlier this season.
-
At this point I've got us playing Geelong in an elimination final, Hawthorn in a semi, and the Pies in a prelim. It won't be easy!
-
I find it the differential between our membership base and Richmond bizarre. I mean, 60k more members? It seems a little far fetched. Is it possible that when we become really successful we could nudge 60k?
-
Everybody needs to get there and get behind the lads. Lets ride the wave of support into September ?
-
How many can we get to the game on Sunday? Locked in finals, celebrating our 160th anniversary, two high quality teams going toe to toe. Is 45k too optimistic?
-
I thought he was great. Especially his defensive pressure and physicality.
-
No fugazi is good news for us. We hold our cards close to our chest these days. Why would Gaff want to go to those desperados north? If he wants to play in an average team in front of 20k people every week good luck to the lad.
-
On SEN this morning Dangerfield was saying how playing on Sundays can be a bad thing, claimed that a lot of players watch football over the weekend and by Sunday they are mentally burnt out. Sure looked like that last Sunday. Stop watching footy boys!

Petty instead of Frost against St Kilda was incredibly stupid and arrogant. Hunt yesterday equally mind boggling, 6 weeks out and 1 shite performance in the VFL. Since when are we rewarding mediocrity? Selection all year has been frustrating.
-
To be fair the umpiring was diabolical all round. Apparently Nicholls has a different set of rules for the two teams out there. The number of pathetic holding the ball calls Sydney received was laughable. All day he rooted us.
-
The whole game was just so disheartening. Story of our season really. It's going to come down to GWS and we will crumble under the weight of supporter/media expectation and finish 9th. Different team, same old dees ladies and gents... today was the day we needed to stand up. Oh and I really feel for Alex Johnson.
