At this stage of proceedings, Karen Paxman (sponsored by Demonland) has my three votes. Her attack on the ball is ferocious and she’s a constant avenue of supply to the forwards. I’m really impressed by the standard of the game. The ground is in magnificent shape (especially in light of the number of games played here last year), the surface is like carpet, there’s a light breeze and despite the humidity, conditions are great. The marking and kicking are so much better than in the first couple of seasons. Lily Mithen is also up there with Tyla Hanks and Hore and Cunningham are dangerous up forward. Daisy has been hovering around not doing all that much but directing proceedings with her experience. There are very few Demon fans here so I’m quiet at the moment.
