Adams improved a lot this year without Tomo by his side and displayed some very good moments in his first game against the most dangerous big men brigade in the AFL. The Doggies came knocking at his door and I can see way. He has good defensive smarts and excellent foot skills. I look forward to his transition into the AFL next season.

I would be very surprised if the Derk stays. He can’t get a game even with good form at VFL level.

I don’t want to lose Trac either Mousey, but if he goes I won’t be jumping up and down in anger. Trac’s contact, along with a few other contacts has hamstrung the club. Lamb has been poor in bringing in players from other clubs and managing player contracts. I don’t have a lot of trust in him and I hope he doesn’t panic and over pay for Flanders.

If the club did go down this track they would be conceding we are in a complete rebuild. With May, Max, Viney at the end of their careers, Trac (possibly) leaving, it could be a smart move before Tassie comes into play. Get a young core group now and then worry about needs on the fringes later with trades/trades. We still have good experience to bring on the young fella’s.
