I just went back and had a look and Lamb stated the deal had to satisfy the club when talking about a trade with Trac and the Suns. He didn’t say it had to be a player, but the discussion with Twomey was centred around Humphrey and the meeting at the Tan . I made an assumption, but it’s fair to say Humphrey was plan A.

Lamb (and his team) stated the club did not want picks as part of a trade for Trac, they wanted players or a mix of both. Time will tell if the club folds and the messaging is inconsistent.

I hope the club comes out and tells the AFL community Trac is only for sale if a deal for him is suitable for all parties. This forces the hand of the Suns and if not, we welcome Trac back into the fold. Tell Trac and AFL community the Suns didnt want him enough to agree to a fair deal. Worst case scenario, Trac plays for us in 2026.

This would be a disaster for the AFL and Suns. My only concern would be the Suns change tactics and bring in Curnow. They come out smelling like roses.

I can sit on tne boundary line and see Jack and his family have given and contributed to our club in many ways. In this case Jack has been a captain, vice captain and been an up standing person who bleeds for this club. Clarry maybe a better player (albeit a few years back), but the contribution to the MFC is very different. How anyone wants to value them is up to them, but don’t put one down to make the other look better.

I suggest you stick to critiquing Jeffo. It was a much better read, and outlines your view on ability. I get you are upset, but leave your emotions to losing Clarry. Not on other players at the club. Jack is a premiership hero.

@picket fence is being extremely disrespectful of the whole Viney family. The whole Viney family have given a lot to this club and should never be spoken about otherwise.

Viney has a great attitude, is a leader, provides value off field and is someone everyone should lookup to.

Maffra is not standard, or a FIFO town. It is a town you go to for a reason only. FWIW, do not go there if you have no reason ppls. Trust me.
