  1. Further to my previous post, the club should be keeping an eye on Corey Enright. A Bartel and Enright combo could be a winner.
  2. Bring in new people with a vision. Start with Bartel as General Manager of football. A new coach from a successful football club and program who brings with them people who can implement a game plan. Possibly replace Lamb to bring in players who compliment the new vision and new coaches philosophy. Our list runs thin and new recruits (from the draft) are asked to do too much in their first year. Look at the fitness program. The injury list is impressive, but players cramping in the 3rd quarter today is a worry. So is watching Langford and Lindsay struggling form a long season.
  3. Harsh in Lindsay. No growth on a young man who had a limited pre-season is not fair. He was not seen today, but his growth has been impressive. Salem - runs on a treadmill.
  4. I’m just happy we moved the ball forward quicker than GC. The stats don’t lie ppls’s
  5. Leading up the ground too. I like it
  6. On a positive note; we have the talent at the top end. Lack the talent on the middle, and some young guys who could turn out to be good/very good We are a team deft of system and confidence. We need a change our coach, method and system
  7. Surprised he has had that many…
  8. Either are our experienced players. Season gone, look to next year.
  9. Play the kids Dub
  10. GC know how to move the ball forward and create space..
  11. Goal assist to Jeffo 😛
  12. Melk burnt Jeffo then Easy goal there
  13. Gawn is not perfect Chook. 3 goals 13 behinds this year says it so. But, he is damn good/great
  14. It looked aggressive when the rest of the team were extremely passive.
  15. Max is a fantastic leader of our club. He has been forced to bunker down for our club when the 💩 was hitting the fan. Still is and will always be doing so. If Max is your point of reference for that first quarter, I suggest you look to others.
  16. Trying is heart out, as usual….. 🤔
  17. you can cancel out the first quarter. No one was getting a possession in the forward line
  18. Viney has lifted this quarter. He has been impressive
  19. Another lead up to the ball carrier. Goody maybe onto something here. Well done Melk
  20. Trac had a free player 20 meters away too.
  21. A forward leading to the ball carrier?? Mind boggling. Well done Melk….
  22. Interesting read. Just informs me anyone can throw out stats to prove a point, but the sum of all parts equal a good result. Unfortunately, the ultimate stat is wins and losses and ladder position The article also talks about the method different clubs use to orchestrate a win.
  23. I can only guess smelling a lot better than your 💩 glasses Ox.
  24. I have to agree here. Petty was an important cog in the backline in 2021. His height and ability to play on the tall talls, whilst Lever played his best as interceptor and May could use his strength against the gorillas went a long way to winning a flag. Plugger Mac and BBB were in great form up forward too. Kudos Petts for your input to our flag .
  25. Yep, suburban footy, albeit very good, is not professional football. If the answer was easy clubs would kick straight. Aaand not think, just do. I’m sure you could engineer the mechanics to straight kicking for goal.
