First of all I’m not an expert but Spider fangs have all sorts of nasties venom or not. They can result in necrosis and in severe cases amputation of the affected limb. Hopefully it doesn’t resort to that but some bite related infections can hang around for a long time.

Your comment on Oliver was spot on and a little overlooked on here. We all want the best of him on and off field. From a footy front, I was expecting more from him too. He didn’t have the same energy as he did against the Roos. Everyone can have a bad game, let’s just hope this was one of them. Matching up on Green is also no easy feat and Oliver probably lost that battle.

All I’ll say is play like the game against GWS and we’ll smash them. North is a similar outside biased team. Gawn will have a tougher opponent in Xerri and Larkey / Darling combo will test our KPDs a bit more. But we should dominate the contest and territory game.

Funny thing reading back this thread. anyway bumping the Butters topic as he is a pre-agent (hate this word) and will potentially attract some attention this year or next ( as RFA) I’d love this guy in our team but not sure it’s where we need focus or whether it’s an excess to our current needs. If it’s a RFA play and we have cap space, then sure why not. With all the chatter around LJ, Kozzy and our obvious list holes I wonder whether JT and Lamby are having dıscussions with his manager given how we tried to get him in 2018.
