  1. And Kozzy almost kicked a Petracca goal from the left pocket
  2. Beat the Pies and we are knee deep in the run to the finals. I give us a huge chance.
  3. Boyne on SEN has applauded the new game plan, which to be fair was not evident in the first 5 rounds. Some interesting insights that he raises. We have evolved. MFC is one of the fastest ball movers Last 6 rounds we have been the teams to have changed the angles the most We have proved that forward line personnel is not the problem as evidenced by the scoring we have had with Petty and AJ vs Carlton’s straight line (ie our old method) footy with Curnow and McKay. Credits coaching staff and list management in bringing in better ball users into the club.
  4. How does Maxy get a measly 2 votes! Kozzy deserved the 10 for sure. But Max was the second (or third highest rated) player on the ground was he not? Goody not giving him the 4 to help him progress his ALFCA is grounds for dismissal.

  6. This isnt a topic to discuss week-by-week. We are quick to forget the poor start against teams that we had no business in losing to (North, Bombers). Yes we were expecting a less than ideal start and to be fair, we probably came up against them at a rather unfortunate time for us. Goody clearly hasn't lost the players - i myself doubted that at one point, but we still have a forward line issues that have been glossed over by some out-of-this-world individual performances in the past couple of games. Playing a CHB (Petty) and 34 yo (Melksham) is not a sustainable go-forward plan. The F50 connection appears to be improving, but need a few more scalps in the top 8 before we can conclusively say we are legitimate condenders again. We have much to improve in this area. To keep the monkey off his back for the rest of the year and in the off-season, he needs to finish strongly. Finals will be difficult but at least a positive ledger in the second half i think is fair. i'd still hold off contract negotiations until after next season though, where a finals berth is a must.
  7. Anyone have the for and against points ranking for the last 5 rounds across the comp? we'd be close to top 4 on the for side, but suggest we are mid table for points against.
  8. Yep, his attitude without the ball is much much better. It also sets a standard for the team as well.
  9. The renaissance begins. Im glad the team has found its mojo back and its competitiveness and confidence. Onwards and upwards.
  10. Love the 82 points from turnovers. That is the right scoring avenue. I cant believe we were still above our expected score with all the sitters we were missing.

It is actually fair value. I think we one-eyed supporters need to get proactive and start asking for 3 + Dogga or 4 first round picks.
  12. Watching the highlights of the Crows Eagles and I have to say that Langford plays so much like Dawson in almost every possible way. Not sure where the Bont comparisons come from.
  13. 6 Kozzy 5 Gawn 4 Clarry 3 Salem 2 Trac 1 Lingers Plenty honourable mentions. Windsor, Rivers, XL, Disco, Bowey, Judd, Milkshake
  14. If Freo want him the price is now all there first round picks for the next 10 years, Serong, Brayshaw, Reid and Dogga.
  15. 3 weeks for Mills minimum.
  16. No 50’for them but ok for us.
  17. Game should be over. And yet here we are.
  18. Lever stinks
  19. Both were absolute gifts from god. Still it’s an even contest.
  20. Pies have almost half their side out too. Fair effort.
  21. Jamie Elliot is such a gun player. Probably playing for peanuts.
  22. Just an observation but no way on earth N Daicos wins the Brownlow this year and he shouldn’t be in the AA team either.
  23. Collingwood look ripe for the picking. Let’s see what the maggots have to say about it.
  24. Good to see Collingwood on the road…..
  25. It shows how badly we were robbed against them the week before. Pathetic umpiring ruins football games. No ifs or buts. Drives me nuts every week even if it’s not my own team.
