Goodwin and the club are desperate. What a farce, Daniher is 32...we need some cool heads in our football department, we are off the rails and look desperate.

Too many of our players are not living up to expectations that's not only from outside the tent. As a supporter I don't have a clue where this club is going, nor do I have a clue what the coaches are doing. I'm not invested as much after the GF and losing patience with losing the same way week after week. This list is going backwards and the club looks flat.

Rinse repeat...as a life long supporter I've seen and heard everything I need to hear about this unskilled football club. It's a fail on our key forwards, it's a midfield that slaughter their kicks, it's a group that dont change whatever they are taught, and no coach at our club is capable of fixing players weaknesses. Bottom 4 with this supposed list is a big fail. There is one guy who is the exception and that's our Captain. The rest are a toss up week to week. Goodwin going into his 10th season and we have won a flag and two top 4 years. Other clubs flying past us in a wasted era, and since Yze left we have lost our edge. Max will never be replaced and our midfield is running on empty, at best in 2026 we may be a middle of the road team and that will be the end of the Goodwin era.

Gawn is probably totally stuffed from his work around the ground when he lines up for goal. He does more work than our total forward line combined.

Will tell who should go, and that's Richardson. He is responsible for the coaching group. His job is to oversight this group and from what I've seen he is hardly setting the world on fire in a dismal season. Our midfield under Jones has slaughtered the ball and give our forwards nothing. Richardson must fall on his sword for being unable to get the coaches to fix a yearly problem costing us games. Frankly cannot see this club getting back to finals until our midfield kicking and forward structure is fixed. 2026 and beyond is hopeless unless they can turn this around. Enough is enough with same old poo in our forward half.

Goodwins habit of bringing back underdone players from long lay-offs fails every time.

The guide dog association has offered to help with next week's game. Training with guide dogs in front of goal. Next week's score to improve and likely to be 7.24

After last year's debacle against WCE, I am sensing another embarrassment for the MFC. Our record in these types of games is very predictable, teams below us sense a kill when it's the MFC.

Watching old man Tex Walker still running around kicking goals, then watching JVR, young fit and key forward going backwards. Either he is low on confidence or being badly coached. In any event he should be much better.

When was the last time Lever, May and Salem played cracker games as a backline? Especially Salem...

I just want the team who are picked to turn up for 4 quarters and play like their season is on the line. Please help Max onfield, and please can Viney play in the 50 so we don't have continuous bombing to JVR.

We have a lot of pre season champions, once the real stuff starts the pre season guns are lost in action. We don't look tough or strong and Gold Coast will pull our pants down. Who is going to carry this club on their shoulders, Maxy has had that role without much support.

Mcvee Kossie and Windsor strengthen the group. We get shown up by effort when the opposition puts the foot down. As for JVR, he must be pulling his hair out with useless delivery. Only 2 games in and many on this list need to focus on effort and composure. I hate rebuilds...current list put away the nice stuff and get angry and play to your strengths. As for Goody..he has new ACs...no excuses, either he can get this list back into the 8 or he can't. We will know the answer to that in 6 weeks. Final word from me, Alan Richardson, I'm not a fan. He is Goodys boss and he needs to take some of the heat.

I'm a Spargo fan, he cracks in and is a good kick. My only gripe is bringing him back underdone. It happened last time and frankly he should play VFL for a couple of weeks.

Windsor needs to get that infection sorted asap. He us a big part of this team.

Hope I am wrong, but feel this is too many newbies against a potential top 4 list. Good luck to them, a lot of weight on the rest of the team to look after them and produce a win. Got a feeling the 4 points might go Giants. Anyway go hard dee's.

With a healthy list we should compete well against the giants. I have us between 6 and 10 ladder wise this year depending on health and fitness. Two things such as tweaks to gamestyle and kicking skills will determine if we make finals. Midfield is strong but Mayesy is in his last stretch and Petty should step up to help May out. Chandler is not the answer for small forward, and a lot is going to be expected of JVR. I'm tipping Viney will have a cracker of a year in a strong midfield ...if Viney nails a few more goals this year he could be AA.

Its a very nervous time for clubs in January. After xmas break of 3 weeks players bodies not at optimum according to former Hawks High performance manager. Too much time off leading into new year and training ramps up in a very short period.

With an important season in front of this club, I will wait until seasons end to worry about Picket or any other move by players at the end of the season.
