Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Doess anybody really want to see Trac running around in another club jumper and winning games against us? I doubt it. In a purely playing sense, Petracca is Barassi in another era. That is not undervaluing Barassi who was a Captain an multiple premiership player and coach. It's simply a like for like playing wise in another era.

Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
If King is to recruit hard players..look no further than stiffie Johncock.

Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
I would love to see Steven King get Nigel Lappin to the club. Arguably the best development coach in the competition.

Assistant Coaches in 2026
If Scarlett has been out of it for 4 years then give him a wide berth.

Welcome to Demonland: Brody Mihocek
Tim Lamb should listen to King before he does anything further. I still think Lamb has done an awful job with 99% of his picks. We could do better than Lamb.

If your a kid or have kids...then get number 19 on your jumper. This is our future.

Bassett leaves the Dees
Well that appointment started and ended with a whimper.

Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
Welcome Stephen King. A complete apprenticeship and former Captain and premiership player. Go well Kingy. Buckley going through a process and still telling the club he needs more time is disingenuous to the employer. King is a current day coach with heaps of experience. Now the club needs to put support around him he needs and players that want to be at the club.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
If I am correct, the club are looking to appoint someone above Richardson. I really hope they do, Richardson has overseen the mess a n d is better suited to a development role.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
I am hoping that the club a K so have worked out who they are going to offer the head of football to. Announcing coach and shortly thereafter his support team and head of football. Many appointments waiting the call.

2025 Keith "Bluey" Truscott Trophy
Not a lot of interest in the Bluey this year...wonder why.

Marcus Windhager
Another wasted thread.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Whatever spin is put on this, it's not a good look when so many dont want to go through the process. There are only 18 jobs at this level and if your a serious aspirant you need to have a crack. Don't waste the clubs time by pulling out so late. It's not a good look for Skipworth.

Tracca often slow to get started.
He ain't the only one to shake off cobwebs slowly. Our starts have been poo. Highly paid footballers not knowing the bum from their elbow until 3rd quarter. All I see in 2025 is a group of players n9t been invested and body language terrible. Only exception is Max.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
I'm still with Buckley. Will make this club relevant again because of his profile and football nous. As for cleaning up list, he will be ruthless and I see Petracca either sharpen attitude or get on his bike elsewhere. Buckley won't want plodders, he won't want senior players running the football dept. That's why Richardson should go, he has let this malaise set in as head of Football.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
I read somewhere the club has already formed a coaching sub committee and Richardson is on it. Why? I think he should be cut and a new Head of Football be recruited. He has overseen the coaches and frankly failed.
-
Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
I would get rid of Richardson. He is part of the problem.
-
Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Please not Hinkley....the great choker in finals. He had a great list and won sweet naff all.
-
What role did Alan Richardson play?
I've been saying for a while we need a new Head of Football. Richardson is part of the problem and should go. Interesting to note in Goodys final address. He thanked Peter Jackson, Josh Mahoney and Todd Viney for resurrecting the club. Not a word about Richo. Personally find Richardson a decent guy, but at the end of day he oversaw all the coaching group.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Buckley. Not a fan previously, however has football nous, will make us a destination club and has a hard edge. If he is not interested, then we should look at a Skipworth type or someone in the macrae mould. Simpson or Longmire as head of football and mentor if we choose an experienced assistant.

From anger to action: A call for constructive feedback to leadership
Love to know what Darren Shand had to say about all this. He presented at the board this week but as usual we dont even get a sanitised version of his work.

From anger to action: A call for constructive feedback to leadership
As a member of 40 years I have seen it all until last week. What happened in that last quarter was nothing short of complete capitulation by the players on the field. The coaching has been talked to death and frankly I don't care who coaches our club, it is players mindset in that last quarter the likes I have never seen from experienced players. The club itself has never really addressed communications with members other than the odd meeting or three. Coterie groups run the place and are treated on a different level to everybody else. Let's see what Smith and Guerra do...I just want us to be off the laughing stock list and become really relevant for the right reasons.

Brad Greens letter to members
Pfft....this club will bleed members in 2026 if weasel words continue. We have instability at board and CEO level, we have coaches that can't fix basic issues and we have senior players who are unfit and have put the cue in the rack. Tough talk needed backed up with decisive action. We will not be a ruthless club with current philosophy. Spirit my rear end..Richardson, Tim Lamb and trade our under performers for players who actually have spirit. New leadership group needed and finally the coaches. Yes the coaching group that is all over the shop must change. Decisive and fast action must be taken, the club will lose money from corporates who wont put up with this. Totally unacceptable situation for everybody.

Joe Daniher
Goodwin and the club are desperate. What a farce, Daniher is 32...we need some cool heads in our football department, we are off the rails and look desperate.

POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast
Too many of our players are not living up to expectations that's not only from outside the tent. As a supporter I don't have a clue where this club is going, nor do I have a clue what the coaches are doing. I'm not invested as much after the GF and losing patience with losing the same way week after week. This list is going backwards and the club looks flat.
