Can everyone please stop questioning the severity of his injury. It was severe and he has very right to be traumatized. It is wrong that someone from his camp is leaking and I agree this is the worst possible way he could have sought a trade, but let's leave the severity of his injury alone. It's pretty well reported it was severe.

Yeah and Sam McClure is taking her saying "I haven't spoken to Trac about that" (meaning she hasn't spoken to him about leaving the club - she most likely has not had that conversation with him, he would address the FD) as that she hasn't spoken to him at all.

At the end of the day, only demanding to be traded to "2 big Melbourne clubs", is going to look really bad. Hopefully that's not what he's saying. Also, can we stop debating whether or not he nearly died? Does it matter? He clearly went through a traumatic experience. I don't like what is being leaked to the press but I also don't think it's fair to debate his medical experience, which none of us were there for.

Yeah I think she needs to go. I don't know what she could have said, but it was a trainwreck of an interview and this has all happened on her watch.

This is exactly what the media love, a story they can milk for 2 months. The fact people are leaking to them must be a thrill. I listened to the start of "the sounding board" podcast the other day and Craig Hutchison said two things that were telling: 1. He hopes this goes on for as long as possible because it's good for business 2. Christian Petracca's manager Robbie is inexperienced.

I'm sorry but what was Roffey supposed to say? I don't think anything she'd say would suffice for anyone. The people that need to talk aren't doing any talking and are using Tom Morris and Sam McClure are their mouth piece.

I think he is staying silent because if it does blow over he can just say he was never leaving. If his management has advised him to stay silent, it's the only good advice they have given so far.

I can imagine it would sour relations between them and MFC too, not to mention the AFL as a whole, which is bad for business
