PREGAME: Rd 19 vs Fremantle
It's not weird when you consider that Fullerton is a forward who can ruck, not a stand alone ruckman, and his VFL form has been lacking. Max is great at hitouts but it's what he offers around the ground that has the most impact and what we miss most as a team. Petty might not be great in the middle, but he can mark around the ground and have influence there. Roo is competitive in the middle. Fullerton, is not great at either of these things, which is why he has not been picked.

Allen Jakovich’s 30th Anniversary
Yes I remember being so hopeful for 95 after making the prelim in 94. We had a great team, even without Jako our forward line of Lyon, Schwarz and Pike was really good. 95 the injuries piled up and we lost a run of games only by a kick or so. Was a the 'g when Schwartz did his knee a second time. Heartbreaking. Jako was my favourite player though and I was sad when he was delisted.

"Very sore" Max Gawn in doubt for next Saturday vs Essendon
If you're referring to Grundy, last time we played Essendon he was owned by Draper.

TRAINING: Monday 1st July 2024
It was a really great day, just a shame that some parents didn't listen to Robbo's calls for children to remain off the ground. The children storming the players while they were signing and preventing them from getting to those children waiting patiently was pretty poor. Please be respectful of others.

Yes I was right near him too. Great to see so many senior players there on an awful rainy day.

POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Brisbane
If we look at this game with a glass half full mentality, (which I think is the more healthy way of looking at it for the sake of everyone's mental health) the trend is that we are improving. Yes, we need to work on our fourth quarters, but at least we are back at winning key performance indicators in the game. The woeful performances against West Coast and Freo weren't that long ago, and many had written us off last night. We performed really well, and many of the Brisbane errors came from our pressure, rather than them having an off night. Much of the improvement is due to our younger players stepping up. This is so encouraging. We will continue to improve and I'm so proud of being a MFC support today.

POSTGAME: Rd 15 vs North Melbourne
Of course I'd be disappointed, but having been a long suffering Dee's fan, I'll be grateful for 2021. It was an amazing achievement. I just don't think it's healthy to be this negative. And I don't like the attitude many on here have about the players. They are human beings. And they do care.

POSTGAME: Rd 15 vs North Melbourne
I used to really enjoy lurking on these pages but the negativity is a real drag. I know that it's frustrating watching your team lose or not play their best, but being a supporter is also about celebrating wins. There were so many positives to take out of tonight. Yeah, we may not be playing our best footy, but we were so much better than previous week's. We led for the entire game for a start and barely kicked any behinds. The youth at our club stood up tonight. Kolt was amazing. That Kynan Brown tackle 🔥. Trent Rivers. Judd McVee. Jack Viney, Max Gawn and Steven May played really well. Petty had some impact! Our first and third quarters were really good. North Melbourne are not playing like a bottom side - they were really lifted in the last quarter and were hard to stop. We may not win the premiership this year, but there is a lot to hope for in the future. Every top 8 side has had a [censored] time recently - Sydney nearly didn't make the finals last year, Geelong missed them entirely. Collingwood were woeful in 2021. A win is a win, is a win, is a win.
