  1. Couple of great highlight clips below. Both look excellent options to me.
  2. Becoming increasingly likely that it’s one of Langford or FOS that ends up with us at our first pick.
  3. Relax. If Tauru does slide, which is unlikely anyway, we are highly unlikely to be passing on the mid that’s still available - Langford in your particular scenario.
  4. Draper won’t get past Adelaide. One of Langford, Smith or FOS for us.
  5. Carlton into Draper in a big way so sounds like he will be a near certainty to be off the board when it comes to our first pick. 1. Lalor 2. Tauru Carlton or Adelaide to pick Draper with the other to select one of FOS/Langford/Smith. So sounds likely we will choose between the two that are still on the board out of FOS/Langford/Smith.
  6. Langford at pick 5 for me, and by a fair margin. Just hope he’s still there. Seeing several Phantom’s that consistently have Lalor, Tauru, Ashcroft, FOS and Draper taken with the picks before ours so I hope it pans out that way on Draft night. I don’t have a strong opinion regarding pick 9. I’ll trust that Taylor will nail the pick like he usually does whether it be best available mid, fwd or def.
  7. Because as the saying goes; ”Quality over quality”
  8. Fullarton will be making his debut in the red and blue this Saturday night.
  9. Gawn in doubt for this match with his ankle. Pulled up worse than expected and he’s on crutches today.
  10. OUT: Petty (inj), K Brown, Tomlinson IN: Melksham, Bowey, Salem Sub almost always comes from the bench so Tholstrup seems most likely.
  11. Howes would be my guess.
  12. It says to me that Rivers will play majority midfield again and that AMW will effectively replace Rivers off half-back.
  13. OUT: Tomlinson, Howes IN: Lever, AMW A tired Windsor to start as sub. K Brown full game mostly on the wing.
  14. Because he’s named on field. Our sub has come from the bench every match this season.
  15. Tholstrup will almost certainly be sub which is disappointing.
  16. OUT: Petracca, Howes, Billings IN: Tholstrup, Tomlinson, K Brown Laurie sub.
  17. It is absolutely time to inject some youth into this very tired looking Dees outfit. We have also given enough chances to players who offer the bare minimum. Nobody needs a break - the bye is for that. OUT: Petracca (inj), Billings, Laurie, Howes IN: Lever, Tholstrup, Woewodin, Sestan (debut) Sparrow in particular needs to lift in the midfield with the absence of Trac. We need Oliver to go up a gear too. Give Salem some midfield minutes again in addition to Oliver, Viney, Pickett and Sparrow. Tholstrup in the midfield too once he comes on as sub. Round 15 Team B: McVee, May, McDonald HB: Rivers, Lever, Salem C: Langdon, Oliver, Windsor HF: ANB, Turner, Fritsch F: Chandler, JVR, Pickett R: Gawn, Viney, Sparrow I: Bowey, Petty, Woewodin, Sestan Sub: Tholstrup
  18. The amount of humble pie that will be eaten come Monday evening will be an absolute joy to observe.
  19. Turner for JVR the only change. Woey sub again.
  20. No, it does not mean that he is in. He is just on the extended bench and I can tell you he will not be in the final 23 for this round.
  21. Based on training it’s; JVR for Brown Tomlinson for Lever Langdon for ?
  22. OUT: Lever (inj), Brown IN: JVR, Langdon B: McVee, May, Howes HB: Rivers, McDonald, Bowey C: Langdon, Petracca, Windsor HF: ANB, Fritsch, McAdam F: Pickett, JVR, Chandler R: Gawn, Oliver, Viney I: Salem, Billings, Sparrow, Petty, Woewodin Petty can swing forward or back as required.
  23. These are the changes I’m anticipating. If one of the returning players isn’t starting sub then I think Billings is the most likely candidate.
  24. I don’t think McAdam playing has any relevance to whether Salem is in this week. If he’s fit, he plays. Probably at the expense of Woewodin.
  25. Bowey confirmed available for this Thursday so expect him to come straight back in.
