A few blokes who we all rate were missing when it counted. Disco and Fritsch were terrible. Not sure why Kozzy played 1 Q, had the 9 touches. Billings looks a million dollars but is very ordinary by foot. Petty was missed, May and Lever had to play a different role and it hurt us. Mids were great and looking forward to a massive year. Round 1 Team - (Players in bold are questionable due to injury or Pre Season form) B - Petty, May, Bowey HB - Windsor, Lever, Salem C - Langdon, Viney, Rivers HF - Sparrow, Johnson, Turner F - Chandler, van Rooyen, Fritsch RUCK - Gawn, Petracca, Oliver INT - Sharp, Lindsay, Billings, Woewodin 23rd - Langford

Unfortunate illness but he was atrocious last season How can you average 2 disposals a game
-

Thinking about cancelling Kayo today and hoping they give me a better deal For those that have done this, how long before they email with a new deal?

What's the real issue with Brew?
-
Well for a start he hasn't returned to Melbourne after Xmas which is concerning

Culley will get the nod over Roy due to having past AFL experience imo Roy will continue to play and train at Casey with a chance Mid-Season to be picked up
-
McVee now out for an extended period AMW takes his spot B: Lever, May, Moniz-Wakefield HB: Salem, Petty, Windsor C: Sharp, Rivers, Langdon HF: Petracca, van Rooyen, Turner F: Fritsch, Johnson, McAdam FOLL: Gawn, Oliver, Viney IC: Bowey, Chandler, Langford, Billings SUB: McDonald
-
Not sure how McAdam could go as a sub due to him only being a forward I would leave that option for a versatile player like Johnson imo McAdam should get first crack while Kozzy and Throstup are out
-
Like it Forward line looks potent

He was always going to follow wherever Narkle was. Which is why i said last year that he has given his letter to the FC seeking a trade to Port where Narkle was at the time. I took all the wacks and sledges on DL on the chin for making that statement and stayed off here for a while just to cool things down. Now that Narkle is at Freo, Kozzy has all the intentions of being at that FC in 2026 due to being Brother in laws (Partners are sisters). They are always together in Darwin and spend more time up North as a group more than back in WA/SA.

Observations via the YouTube clip Kozzy - geez he is a jet, looks as fit as ever and will cause some major headaches for opposition teams in 2025. Aiden Johnson - Ready made for Round 1, strong mark and has the smarts of the requirements of an AFL player. Pencil him in. Maxy - Made Tom look like a mug from the clips online which is no insult to Tom. Langford - Another who will play Rnd 1, big body who has the smarts. McAdam - Shano looks fit both mentally and physically in 2025. Really hope he takes his chance and repays the FC.

I have a gut feeling Culley takes Kentfield spot somehow on the list Concerning to hear Kentfield has not made it back to Melbourne since Xmas due to health issues.

Forgive me if already mentioned. Roy has signed with Fitzroy Stars

Great to hear Maysie did come from a broken home (Father in and out of gaol) so it makes sense why he is rejuvenated in life with his first bubba -

I really do hope McAdam takes his chance in 2025. From all reports that he is much fitter physically and mentally. -
I am confident Johnson can be that ''Bull'' up forward Back: McVee, May, Lever Salem, Petty, Bowey Forward: Fritsch, van Rooyen, Turner Pickett, Johnson, Chandler
-
Our strongest backline is with Petty. Having drafted Johnson i am confident he takes Petty role forward.
