The Kalani White Thread
Four FS players worthy of pick 1 will be running around in the AFL for the next decade o more - Daicos, Darcy and 2x Ashcroft. If Kalani doesn't come to the Dees i'll be absolutely filthy.

Draft Capital
Brisbane have two academy players coming. One of them is likely the first pick in the draft, the other will be an early second rounder. They only have three picks in the 2024 draft, so they desperately need points. We should go after their first pick, which right now would be 14. We have two third round picks and a fourth round pick. We could then even look at trading that to get further up. Maybe Adelaide would take ANB + 14 for 4. We've traded strongly in the past to get back into the first round, I back us to do it again.

PREGAME: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
If the Dogs, Hawks and Blues win their remaining games, Collingwood can't make it If the Hawks and Fremantle win their remaining games Collingwood can't make it If the Dogs, Hawks and Blues win by 1 point today, Collingwood will be out of the eight by 7%. If the Dogs, Hawks and Blues then lost by 1 point next week, Collingwood would have to win with score around 150-20. Even if we lose, if we can keep it close, it's a win.

The Watch with Ben Gibson | Tom Morris
McClure has been so far off in the last 12 months, both in his 'opinions' and 'mail'. I'd trust Morris far more than McClure.

Good to see B. Brown playing. Hope it he gets through OK. Normally i'm not one to mess with selection integrity but i'd be OK if he got a farewell game next week.

Jack Viney Extends Contract Until 2028
Jack will be incredibly valuable to even to a rebuilding side. We should all be familiar with how the Dean Bailey and Mark Neeld rebuilds went without experienced, mature leaders to support the kids. If we want flexibility, that should've been considered when giving Laurie an extension. Or trading for Jack Billings with two years left on his deal. Or trading for McAdam.

Round 24 - Club unity game?
I'm not that interested in going to our last game of the year. We're playing boring footy. We're playing losing footy. Everything about the club is bad news. The club should know this. Attendances have been terrible recently. The last game of the year, in prime time, and we'll get swallowed up by Collingwood supporters. How could the club address this? Firstly, what about a celebration for Bryashaw? The game starts at 7.40. Put on a highlights package at 7.10, the key being 7.10 for Angus' number. Encourage everyone to wear something on their head. Dees beanies, big freeze beanies, hats, whatever you like, in tribute of his headwear. Have a sale at the Demon shop. Second, we can celebrate ANB. It's not often that players leave a club and get thanked for their contribution. He deserves it. Third, [censored] COLLINGWOOD. They can go to hell. I want the players revved up and their weight thrown around. No nice guy with Maynard this time. What else? Can the club buy up some tickets and do a giveaway? Something to get fans to the game and have a happy moment, at least until the game starts.

Farewell Alex Neal-Bullen
Absolutely shocked, gutted, way too many other words come to mind. Cannot believe it. Heart and soul player, always loved the way he would grab his guernsey on the chest when kicking a big goal. Can't believe it. Hopefully it's Port so we can use it for Houston....
