The midfielders must have a party to go to tonight. They’ve all decided that they’re outside mids only. Half forwards have joined in – not keeping their player out of the contest. They’re just not really playing for each other today.

The Casey midfield has no idea about defence or being accountable. It’s just not a thing in this game play. Also, they obviously don’t spend very much time handballing. Even with their correct hand, they are lucky to hit the foot of their target. It’s doing my head in – almost as much as the dog. My dogs had enough as well. She’s off out the back. While I’m at it – can somebody teach the cameraman how to use auto focus?

Interesting to see the pies and dogs VFL sides played before the main event. Might catch on. I see cats and tiges are doing the same thing. Used to be good to see the upcoming talent in the ressies before the game, and it also gave them a decent crowd. Hopefully the turf held up ok.

Interesting that in Cunningham’s return game, against WCE in round 4, he had about 1/4 of his usual output. Cameron definitely didn’t play as well last season after the “friendly fire” from Rohan. He is named on the bench tomorrow and they have not named Rohan. Guess they don’t want to risk more friendly fire?

Does anyone know the reason that the reserve teams aren’t able to play before the AFL teams this week? Is the MCG surface so frail? What’s happening before the game on the MCG?

Ump just held the game up because pies/cox couldn’t get their [censored] together and get to the boundary throw in. If they choose a stupid time to interchange, that is on them.

Was Highmore playing on Jeffo or Schache? He’s a pretty reasonable defender that I thought was hard done by the Saints. Jeffo was marking everything against the dogs so I’d say it’s just a natural part of getting to a higher level more consistently. They’ll all be good, bad and absolutely shocking at times because they’ve all played just a handful of games.

Turned on Tigers V Eagles 10 minutes in. (90min ago) Could not watch Kayo because of the stuttering picture and sound. Did anybody else have this problem? Just turned it back now and it seems better. Tried other streams and they were okay. But this match was consistently [censored].
