- Fitz is required, rather than used as trade bait.

Gut feeling is that choco may have got the nod... Eades movements don't suggest its him, and Roos doesn't come across as a blatant liar.

Personally, I would be very happy with choco + a simpson, ling, hayes or ayres..

We will find out some time throughout the finals series I would say.

AFL trade rumours has Lions announcing Roos today as coach. Either way he's not coming to us so let's move on.

They also said it was scheduled for 10am. However, Voss was speaking to the press at 12.

Doubt the lions are that pathetic to overshadow Vossys presser with more important news.

The end of the day, he is proven to get the absolute best out of players.

Its something we desperately need. You can have all the talent in the world (which we may have), but you need a leader to harness and shape that talent.

Paul Roos has shown he can do that.

I'd be playing Grimes through the midfield.

Not sure if a thread has been started on these two players, but they look to be out of favour at Carlton.

Duigan would be a handy 3rd/4th tall/running defender for us. Big strong body, craves the competitive stuff and normally uses the footy well.

Laidler had a breakout year, plays a similar role to Garland, however would be a handy player. Also ultra competitive.

Backline could shape up like...

FB: Garland - McDonald - Dunn/Clisby

HB: Duigan - Frawley - Terlich

I'd say we get an end of first round pick, so depending on the Crows and Essendon, pick 17/18/19.

I'd also think it would be inactive, and would have to be involved in a trade.

No way we will get another top 5 pick, especially when we will finish above the dogs and possibly the saints.

If you knew what I knew about what Thompson was like down at the Cattery off the field - I reckon you would change your tune.

We should get Kent Kingsley as the Fwd Coach...

If we get a PP I think it would br worth floating the idea of trading it to WB for Jake Stringer. Big body and can play as a mid once his tank is built up. WB can then use the pick on Boyd.

Or get Griffen
