Doesnt matter whether anyone can launch a case in favour of Maynard or not. Imagine if May or even Joel Smith crashed into Daicos knocking him unconcious in exactly the same action as Maynard. The TV and radio commentators would be going nuts and demanding it go straight to the tribunal. The media would be screaming for blood right up to Tuesday night . Bang! 4- 6 weeks. Season over. I cant see tmac and Brown breaking any records running laps around the Tan. What if one or both breakdown during a long tough pre season? Are their tired legs going to hold up. If not they should stop and accept an exit package and retire. The preseason is going to be tough on the pair.

What are the odds Hawkins kicks more goals at 75 years of age than Pickett or Fritsch next year.

Incredible to think that Schache was 2nd pick in a star studed 2015 Draft. He was much higher than Curnow Mckay and of course Oliver below him a few rungs. Weideman was higher than Curnow. Bizarre draft. We picked Weideman ahead of McKay. Might have cost us a flag. LOL Didnt MFC pick Cam Mills ahead of Oliver but Swans kicked up a stink so we had to settle for Oliver. We have to be consistent. If we expect Petty to honour his contract then we have to let Tmac and Brown see out theirs. That doesnt mean we cant come to a mutually agreed exit. It does appear both are done. Maybe a payout for 24 and obviously they wont have to do a gruelling pre season.
