No sorry DD. I did hear some little whispers a couple weeks ago about Dees being very keen on getting Luke Ball to the club in some capacity, they say he is a FM in waiting so i wonder if there is some legs to that. For what its worth i think Luke Ball would be a wonderful appointment / addition to the club.

Just saw a tweet saying Mahoney is gone. Just relaying the info, no idea if true or not, but certainly seems to be rumblings. I think its time for a fresh face in that role amongst other roles in the FD.

Pruess will go, no doubt about it, be interesting to see how tough we are in negotiations. He is a wanted commodity, i genuinely hope we dont give him away. Then go and get the best ruckman in a state league or country league as back up, get them with a late pick or PSD pick. Its not rocket science, there are some great prospects out there.

I hope we are considering him.. he is the type of player that will help Weid so much.. Weid goes from getting the strongest best defender to the second, can roam up a bit make contests without having to bolt back to FF. Man we really need another key Fwd.. if not Brown.. then who?

ANB is the player that should be moved on and turned over.. he isnt going to make us better, sad but true, if we got a third rounder for him then you take it IMO

I find it interesting that so many want to move on a a player who is clearly important to teh team and has many great assets as well as some weaknesses why we ant to get rid of good players i dont know.. there should be a page on Melksham.

By the looks of his Instagram.. its over and he has accepted it. What a shame but hope he can stay on the right path, family is his biggest investment and priority. Good luck to him. Once a Demon always a demon.

My information is that the incident may have been salvageable from another contract point of view.. but its the way he has handled it after, refusing to take the calls or discuss anything with the club.. its not so much the incident, its the way he has handled it that has really made it straight forward decision. The club is disappointed that after all the efforts they have put into him, he has not had the respect to discuss with the club and apologise and show any remorse.. especially after what was promised at the start of the year. Just a bit of a mess sadly, and the club has done everything right, in the end, this will be because of Harley and no one else.

If you get a second rounder for him, then do it. I dont think he is that great to be honest.. but he fits the need for some clubs. No reason why with pick 67 we couldnt draft a big developed ruckman from state side who can be cheap and provide some depth.. there are so many out there.. Oscar McInerney was right under our eyes.. so thats what we do.

Its so funny that a player like Jack had such an impact on me and the supporters. For me, he is up there with Jeff Farmer as my favourite Demon ever. Played in constantly bad teams under bad coaches and bad regimes.. yet smiled his way through it, was always polite and positive and when your kids love a player like you do, then you know the impact he has had. Wish him nothing but the best, a class act on and off the field.

Good for you Sue... its your opinion and your right to think whatever you feel is right.. and i wouldnt go looking for an argument with you... maybe you should do the same.. stick to your opinion and stop trying to put words in other peoples mouth.

Lol.. you are so predictable Hammy.. and so bitter.. If Max says it it must be true.. There are countless examples of wasted opportunities this year. The Fail not waste line is classic PR SPIN and it has sucked you in. A captain cant come out and say we wasted a year.. it would be too truthful.. the club outlined a 4 year plan that said finals every year.. they have failed and they have wasted a year of work and effort. You do know that you can be wasteful and still learn from it.. Jog on.. what are you 15 years old?. Cheer up Hammy.

No i agree and i never said that.. i feel like you are reading too much into what i said.. the footy club talks and talks and talks.. promises finals and better years and better times.. they are simply not happening.. so im just sick of hearing it, regardless of what is said.. i am just sick to death of hearing how as a club we are going to change.. and i know they have to say it, they have to portray confidence and sell hope.. but for me personally, and imagine lots of people, they are hollow words. Also im not whingeing about it im being honest about how i feel.. anyway.. go dees.. lets hope the words come with actions next year.

As i also posted, i dont care what he says, right now it washes over me.. i love Max and of course he has to say these things but for ME.. im just not ready to hear another spiel on how we will come back a different team and next year we will be a different side.. when i see it, i will believe it.

So BnF was done last night and is being turned around for tonight.. really dont see the point in that but anyway, and apparently Oliver not happy with where he finished, below Langdon, so possibly 5th.. interesting times..

I dont really understand what you mean Sue and feel like you might be speaking on my behalf and assuming you would know how i would feel. Simply put, i dont care what the y say, i care what they do.. and they are saying it and not doing it. So until they do it has no affect on me.

Fair call and dont get me wrong, i love Max and i like his style and his words are great.. but until they back it up, which they dont most of the times, it has no affect on me.

Hard to not see all this and just say, heard it all before and the talk has been cheap coming out of this club for a long time. i know they have to say it, but it really washes completely over me.

Just keep an eye and ear out for rumblings about Luke Ball and the Demons in some capacity... An outstanding person, great leader and footy brain.. If i hear any more i will let you know.. right now its just an aside, but it might become a whisper soon and then who knows.

Its a tough time, i get angry at the players i get angry at the club but after it all settles, I love the club and hate seeing players depart. The Wagner boys looked like great fellas, popular teammates and they had a red hot dip, good on them. Dunkley got an opportunity which is more than lots of people, he should be proud. I think there will be 3 more to go shortly and then they might sit on it for a while. Im convinced they will try and get something for Oscar.
