  1. I for one think that Sam Bowie was a grossly underrated player
  2. Jurrah wasn't good enough for you?
  3. You can see why the club was so torn over whether to pick Morton or Grimes with #4 in the draft. Grimes is going to be a superstar.... I wonder what odds Centrebet are offering on Grimes to win the 2012 Brownlow... hmmm....
  4. I wish to dispute Judd being all class. A good mate of mine is a Carlton supporter and his kids are mad Judd fans (no 5 of their jumpers etc) anyway this mate of mine was at a bar on a Sunday arvo and sees Juddy drinking with some mates. He politely asked Juddy if he could have his photo taken with him, as it would give his kids a real buzz to see their old man with the Juddster. Juddy refused saying that if he posed for a photo with this bloke, then everyone in the bar would be asking for a photo..... What a nob....... no class in that, arrogant [censored] in my opinion.

I actually hope you're right and I have to eat my words. I'm all for Carlton players being [censored] and holding their team back.
  6. I am stoked that Davey has signed on.... even if he does both knees, both ankles and has a hip replacement, as long as he stays and keeps LJ happy the deal will have been worth it.

remeber these words Straussski, because in 12 months time you will be eating them....... with a full pre-season under his belt, and the fact that he will never be tagged again, Brock will turn into a very very good midfielder playing for the navy blue scum.
  8. I have heard from a very good source that after viewing the footy show on thursday night, Steven Seagal threatened to sue Carlton for defamation unless Fev was traded.
  9. Did anyone else think it was interesting that in this interview, both Dr Turf and more importantly Brock, more or less admitted that the club was tanking at the end of the year? Add to this Robbo's comments that were quoted in the Herald Sun on the weekend, and you have 2 players saying (In a round about way) that the club was tanking. Is it possible that this could lead to possible remifications? Or have the AFL created a rod for their back by steadfastly (and ignorantly) denying that tanking exists?
  10. Interesting thought, but I don't really see that it will, unless the navy blue scum wish to use their #11 pick to trade for a key forward. I see this as very unlikely, as I would have thought they would be keen on trading Fev directly for a key forward (Bradshaw perhaps???) Wouldn't it put our former boy Brock in an awkward position though if they did backflip on the trade!
  11. Sounds like a skillful and pacy version of his old man (insert mental picture of homer drooling over tasty food here)
  12. Even if Geelong were prepared to trade Blake I wouldn't want to go near him simply because he seems like an absolute $hit bloke. Carried on like the biggest sook when he was dropped from 07 GF, then held the club to ransom over Steven King. Contrast that with the class that Wojo and now Stokes have shown in the same scenario (except that both of them are actually worthy of playing in a premiership) and add in the complete lack of class Blake has shown in saying it was nice to stick it up Kings arse on Saturday, and I wouldn;t want this nob anywhere near MFC.
  13. Flash took Wonaeamirri (the Tiwi Turtle) to the brownlow as his date, and Wona apparently re-signed last week for 2 years. These boys are obviously very close, throw in the Warlpiri Warrior, and I would be astonished if Davey didn't re-sign with the Dees soon. I'm sure he is just ironing out a few details in the contract. Once he has we can all get back to the serious business of drooling over Scully and Trengrove
  14. Forget about Sandilands and Luenburger, neither Freo or Brisbane would go anywhere near letting them go for #11 or #18... In my opinion, our ruck stocks are fine, Jamar has improved out of sight (at least as a tap ruckmen, work still to do around the ground) and Meesen was looking good before going down. Put a few more footy seasons (literally) into Spencer and with Stef Martin able to pinch hit, I would think if we were going to trade at all it would be with a view to secure a key forward. I'm not aware of any key forwards available for trade that are young enough for the dees to consider making a play.
  15. Jurrah wasn't too old..... until Wednesday which was his 21st birthday.... sooo let me say a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUNGARRAYI!!!
  16. I doubt Colin Sylvia has been in talks with the club lately, he has been partying his way around South America for the last three weeks. Due back in town this week I think.

One of my best mates went to school with Fev, and said that even at a young age Fev was an absolute nob. Add to that his complete lack of intellect and it's amazing he is smart enough to drive himself to the games.... how was his form on the footy show last night..... lets see... why don't I pick a player who is likely to play on me in big games for the next few years (Zac Dawson) and publicly deride him as being no good on the footy show, thereby giving him extra motivation to prove himself against me... duh.... where's that dildo toy gone.... at least that feels good in my hands... As an aside to this it is interesting that both Fev and Richo rate Max Hudgton as the best full-back they've played on, yet the Saints can't fit him in to their best 22, does that suggest they don't rate any of the Cat's, Bulldogs', or Pies' key forwards.. (I don't either incidentally)
  18. Burgoyne has no interest in coming to the Dees, the fact he has nominated them as one of three destinations, is purely canny work by his agent to ensure that Port feel they have to make a trade with Hawthorn, or risk losing him for nothing in the PSD (Nick Stevens style). Whichever team held the #1 PSD pick would have been nominated by Burgoyne as a "preferred" destination. Unless everything goes pear shaped with Hawthorn, and Port cracks the shits and refuse to trade, I can't see Burgoyne being a Dee.
  19. I inherited a love for the dees (it's in my genes!) My fiance is a mad Bulldogs fan, I've told her when we have kids, the boys will be Demons and the girls get to choose.
  20. Don't get wrong, I love Liam Jurrah as much as the next man, in fact having been to Yuendumu and sharing the same skin name as him (which in Warlpiri culture makes him my brother!), I probably love him more than most, but to have him in your best 25 of the last few decades after 9 senior games is perhaps stretching it just a little.... I am prepared to re-evaluate after round 5 next year though

How can you cold hearted bastards contemplate trading Brocky? Don't you remember him putting his hand in his own pocket for the Debt Demolition last year? That's the sort of bloke that makes me proud to be a Dees supproter. Blokes who bleed for the club are vital to the fabric of the place. He is well liked by the other players and deserves our support. Give him a full pre-season and he will come out firing.
  22. Hodge is nigh on untouchable... Hawks woudn't trade him unless we paid way over the odds... Here's an interesting thought, Is it possible for us to trade the rights to our PSD pick #1 to Hawthorn (who are desperate for Lake) for either player or draft pick(s)? If Hawthorn were prepared to give up pick #9 for Lake, but the Bulldogs refused to trade him, we could weasel in and be the perfect conduit to make the deal happen, and in return effectively trade PSD #1 for National draft #9... The only thing I don't know is if you are allowed to trade PSD Picks for players?? Does anyone else know?
  23. I still have no 48 on my jumper from when Darren Cuthburtson was strutting his stuff, Jurrah is a worthy heir to his throne.
