Agreed, Sue! The thing I miss most, being interstate / from covid, is the atmosphere of the live crowd. The sound stays on to feel the crowd but the commentary is like white noise now (with occasional annoying, nonsense blip). Do have time for Daisy though - wouldn't mind a full game commentary from her.

Just finished reading Between the Flags this morning. It was a fantastic read, especially the last few chapters about our rebuild and winning the flag. May have shed a happy tear or two at the end! The history and lore of the club is described in a detailed but accessible manner, including the impacts of zoning and the attitude to recruitment / resistance to professionalisation. Ian's memories as a supporter are scattered throughout, which keeps it relatable. I echo @Demonstone's comments above about recommending the book to those wavering!

The Avenue is a great local bookstore! The staff really love their books and a very helpful. My other favourite is Novel Idea in Toorak Village - they're very accommodating with ordering books from all over the world.

Oh completely agree! I think maybe the occasional change up when the opportunity presents itself would be the most we could do. Based on @The heart beats true's post about Lever's radio interview... seems even more unlikely to happen unless the boys go rogue in special circumstances! Also feeling a bit sick at the prospect of playing into Sydney's hands...

Maybe we'll do a switch and bait in the finals around this set up? It feels so obvious and repetitive that departing from it strategically should give us a competitive edge provided the boys are trained to expect it
