Talisker was my first introduction to whiskey. Travelled all the way to the furthest point of the mainland but didn't take the ferry to Skye. You can taste the sea in every bottle, delightful! Well, having arrived in Tassie and encountered Dees fans at wine tastings, we have rather earned the stereotype!

Didn't make it to training, but did bump into a few Dees supporters at a wine tasting on the Derwent. Our supporters also seemed in force at Salamanca markets this morning! I can report on general good spirits!

I recommend contacting Demon Army for some tickets! I booked through them (the advance option where your register interest) but the volunteers in charge of tickets are miracle workers. @WalkingCivilWar would agree!

Without knowing anything about Mitch's character and making no corresponding observation, I would like to observe he looks much more like Butthead than our boy Fritsch!

Hunter did seem a bit 'troubled' (what a word that avoids accountability) prior to coming to us, but has ended up fitting in well. I can't say I know much about his personality for certain beyond what had been reported previously (eg the drink driving) and how he is seen now by his MFC team mates. Not behaviour I condone, but it also seems to be in the past. The difference is that I've had some overlap with Bailey in real life via a family member. Rather than relying on media or rumours (and completely unrelated to the substances he enjoys), I dislike him very strongly based on that experience. Of course, Bailey could one day do and be better but I have no reason to believe he's changed... 🤷 So! That combined with the fact he doesn't really seem to fit a need for us, and that we don't really need to add more shonky kicks equals a big no to me. And an uncharacteristically strong stance against a player.

WCW you're making me feel ghastly - from FOMO and also because I'll just have to be there in spirit! Strange to think I've had drinks with many fine folks from the Demon Army but somehow never you!
