I think we need to discuss the top 3 concerns and urgent fixes this team needs. In my view: A) Major overhaul of the fwd line and structure. Need a new approach to how we want to attack, maybe kick more and think less (see ANB or Harmes forcing kicks to teammates even when there is an open goal). I much prefer behinds than turnovers on that side of the ground. B) Mid-field struggles, clearly there are a couple of players not at the level from last year. Brayshaw to play more as inside midfielder? C) May-dependence. We need to find a way to keep our defensive strength even when someone like May, or Petty for that matter, is out. Looking forward to hear your thoughts on these points.

I'll take him if he shows the hunger and decent form as Disco today. Can't be much worse than Weideman or M Brown

No Doubt he is the most important player in our list. He's our barometer, when playing great you know we are a chance no matter the odds. I believe his contract situation is paramount to that of Jackson. Dare I say the order of priority as of today is: Oliver Brayshaw Jackson

In: empathic win Out: Rubbish performances Honestly the game against Brisbane feels like a finals Game already, elimination game. Lose and it's 4 in a row at the MCG! Can't see ourselves recovering from that considering the trend we are in. Win and we are back to the top and with a solid foundation to start a really tough home stretch. I will.still believe in the boys but I really need to see some more fight in them!

I have been following AFL for just 6 years now but I dare say there are only a handful of opposition supporters I like or at least can tolerate. Collingwood, Carlton, Essendon, Richmond, West Coast, Port up there in the "Most hated" category for mine.

Problem is our players lack confidence ATM. Harmes a clear example, he had open goal and instead tried to give a mark to Dogga who was well covered. Just kick to the open goal Harmes!

Btw someone tell Petracca to stop doing ads and TV appearances, there is a premiership to win here! He can do all that BS when retired.

Enough is enough, bring JVR at least he will try and do something. You can see like Disco that these young players are hungry. A lot of complacency in the list from last year, ANB should be embarrassed of his form.

I think it's time to make the coaching accountable, they clearly haven't fixed the blatant issues of the team. On top of that selection questionable, no Rivers or Hunt as Medi sub is damaging today.

I think it's all because of our poor kicking of late, players seems to lack confidence and prefer to defer responsibility

I think it is best not to pay attention to him and just land some nice hard tackles on him at every chance.

That's terrible, it doesn't get better upstairs either. I am on level 2A (Redlegs) and a lot of the people in the corporate suites behind us are also troublemakers. Against Freo it almost became ugly with a couple of our members. Those [censored] get brave when drunk and if their team is winning, otherwise they are nowhere to be heard of or seen.

You guys think it's a group of 'neutrals' that just come to our games to hate on the Dees? Is there something the club can do to ensure that the area around the cheer squad is 100% occupied by only members?

I have noticed this too. Even against Freo there was a pocket of their supporters right next to the cheer squad. And if I recall there was also a good number of Essendon ferals right behind the cheer squad. Surely the club doesn't want us loyal supporters to feel like the away team? However the turn out of our members has been dismal to say the least. I am sure if we had 40k passionate supporters there on every home game all the above wouldn't matter.

I don't Think it's just the last two to be completely honest. Most of the year we have played just above average, not good enough when we know what this team is capable of. I for one am concerned, the team either swallows a humble pie and works their [censored] off for the rest of the season or we may drop from top 4 and with few chances to repeat.

Agree on attending the games, but the noise is proportional to the display on the field. The team needs to turn it up otherwise we can have full house and still be as quiet as a cemetery
