We should do a small rebuild this year, and again I would ask if we really want Goodwin to lead the new team from 2025 onwards? It'll be 8 years. Good years 2017, 2018, 2021 Bad years 2019, 2020 So-so years 2022, 2023 2024 is looking like it will fall in a So-so at best.

But we can't complain about the coach 😶

He doesn't look 100% fit and he will be 34 next year. Of course he will still dominate in some games but, how much longer can we expect him to keep going?

It may be time to rethink and plan ahead. Use this season to develop the team of the future. That includes what are we doing with our coaching staff (starting with the Ruckman who is training our forwards). I have some hope in our yourn guns like JVR, Taj, Windsor, McVee, Kozzy, Rivers. Maybe it's just the end of the road for our 2021 players like TMac, BBB, Petty (if his head is already in Adelaide), Salem. We could use some young talent in the midfield. Max is also starting to look past it, and understandably so, he's carried this team since 2015. It's gonna be a long season.
