    Just a caveat, 2015 Fremantle really bottled that PF at home. 2020 is a bit of an outlier as a season (short quarters, playing in QLD).

    You are right, It's not like JVR tried to punch him. It was just an amateur attempt to be physical, that ended up in a elbow to the chin collision. Medium impact as you pointed out.

    Finishing top 4 has no value if we keep going out in straight sets. I'd rather be Melbourne in 2018, finish 5th but play a PF.

    Never I used the word sack. I just said he would be under pressure. He's got a generational list so the expectations are high. The fact that we keep losing the same way since last year doesn't bode well for his coaching. Don't get me started on our lack of intensity in the first quarter.

    So are we comfortable with one Premiership out of this group? It's my view that GF or PF is the least we should expect from the talent this team has.

    October 2021, Goodwin's record in finals 5 - 1 (1 premiership) September 2023, record is now 5 - 4 likely to become 5 - 5 (two straight sets in a row). Very dire outlook and who would've thought the team would be in this position back when we just won the premiership obliterating the opposition.

    If the forwards are doing whatever they wish on the field, it would look very bad on the coaching group. So my first guess is that the players are being instructed to follow a flawed strategy, specially when we don't have a quality KPF.

    Yes, it is a coaches job to be a motivational leaders just as much as the strategic leader.

    I hope Goodwin is reading this. I am not very fond of the team naively taking the expected score stats as a "win" or an indication that things are OK and will sort themselves out.
