He'd be better than Sparrow that's for sure. The way I felt about him was similar to the way I feel about Sparrow. And yes it is a bit revisionist. However both him and Sparrow had the opportunity to prove their worth this season, one stepped up ... the other, well you know.

Our dangerous players are, in my view, the following: Petracca Fritsch Kozzy Rivers Windsor Hopefully JVR next year can become one, he is going well at the moment.

The AFL is still finds ways of screwing us. It laughable that those top draft pick contracts are only 2 year. Should be 3+1 (team option). That way teams would have more leverage if these players want to go home early (JHF 👀).

I do miss JJ. Granted his ceiling was low but he was a very consistent performer and his floor was good enough to be a starting player. He could've helped us so much this season in the midfield.

Fagan might be if he continues to fail in September. His list is ageing, specially in the fwd and backline.

North and Richmond

Were those players veterans? I have seen nothing but good character in our young brigade.

Goodwin probably will become an assistant after his tenure with us is done. As I mentioned before if we don't make a GF in the next two years, he shouldn't be offered a new contract. 2021 will be a distant memory in season 2026

Why wouldn't your mob let us get McKay? I am surprised he wanted to stay under Curnows Shadow. He could've been our star forward and Premiership player in 2023.

Cap space is more than good enough, I think he is a top 10 salary in our list. Anything else is just extra, late draft pick most likely.

What's with the MFC and KPF? We can't get one or have issues when we have one (Hogan). JVR please be the one 🤞🏻

I tend to think that we missed on McKay in 2022. I was begging for us to throw a massive deal in front of him. I guess I'll never know.

@binman was still doubting we were done last week. Hopefully we can now focus on season 2025.

Some hope remains The best of Trac, Oliver, Petty, Lever, JVR, Fritsch, Kozzy, Rivers, McVee, Windsor, Langdon (he must re-sign) can still see us compete next year. Need two key players to be recruited in the offseason.

We look soulless

Our recruiting since 2022 has been putrid. McAdam not even ready for VFL. Hunter is a semi retired player. I hope we don't screw it this year or we'll be in a world of pain for a long time.
