I am not knowledgeable about the history of the club but, what happened between the MFC and the VFL/AFL? How did it fall from grace in two decades? Very hard to imagine such an historic club and winning club could be left to wander in the wilderness for so long.

Brisbane and Port the most underachieving lists in the last 6 or 7 years. And with huge home ground advantage on top of that.

He also provides defensive efforts. Last night he got a key contested mark with 2 minutes on the clock and Port just bombing into our 50. Those can be game winning one percenters.

Meanwhile Port has 3 consecutive home games, but they lost the first one 😁.

Just finished watching the replay. Can someone tell me if that Fritsch last kick was really not a goal? They never show if the ball goes through the goal line before hitting the post on the opposite side of goal.

Yeah, I saw a couple legitimate tackles by the lions that were then reversed by the umpires calling them push in the back 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️. If you tackle from behind doesn't mean it's automatically a "push".

Isn't the roaming Brian reserved only for Friday Night games? But there's no FN game this week I think.

Wouldn't it make more sense to have a Canberra based team? In that scenario that team should be able to have similar catchment areas as GWS (playing some games in Western Sydney).
