I wouldn't be surprised if both JV and Max have already planned their careers post footy. Likely to continue in the club, maybe coaching or FD.

Similar to Max, the club must be preparing for the future. Both in terms of cap space and handing over the reign to the next generation. They will help develop the young guns coming through.
