Your Least Favourite AFL Team (Poll)
Least āfavouriteā? It was difficult to nominate the ferals. Would have been a lot easier to tick Collingwood had the question being worded āwhich team to you hate / despise loathe the mostā

NON-MFC: Round 02
Brisbane next week. Zero and four? Dear godā¦..š

Good news week (positive news only)
The ferals losing the first three. Up against Brisbane next game. Surely they canāt make it four š¤

NON-MFC: Round 01
One can only hope that the āwinning by a few pointsā catches up with Carlton during this season š¤ Edit-(Sorry Monocular- just saw your post above)

Angus Brayshaw Forced into Retirement
I mentioned this on another thread but I think it is more appropriate here. I liked how the GWS crowd booed that dog every time he got near the ball. I hope that trend continues for the rest of the year. (As an aside I really deplored how fans from all teams booed Goodes- it was not on. Similar for that young bloke who moved from North to Port [North supporters excepted]. Perhaps Iām a bit one eyed and biased- but I believe the Maynard situation is different. The difference being he deserves it, simple as that)

Good news week (positive news only)
We are still in the top 8!

Targeting Max
Likewise. However I was pleased with the GWS crowd āresponseā to him in their game against the ferals. Sincerely hope all other teams supporter bases do likewise.

2024 Experts Predictions
I love how we donāt feature highly with most pundits out there in media land. I can feel another 2021 coming on. GO DEES!

PODCAST: Practice Match vs Carlton
I believe Billings only played a handful of games for the Saints in the last two seasons due to a combination of injuries and form loss prior to coming over to us. I know its early days but it appears that he has found a new lease on life. Boy does he have some silky skills. I am very bullish about how good this could turn out for him and us. I hope he plays in the ones against Sydney. No question from me, just a comment.

POSTGAME: Practice Match vs Carlton
As a bit of a contra to the doomsday sentiments from some after our Richmond practice game, I reckon (with a bit of luck with injuries) that once again I see no reason why we canāt go deep and be serious contenders. Four years running!š¤ Never in my life have I had so much fun barracking for Melbourne and felt so optimistic about our chances as I have had in the last few years. GO DEES!

Daniel Turner to Miss 10 - 12 weeks
I reckon there are a couple of positives being classified as the āliving deadā. I find that cars generally now slow down when I try and cross the road. Took a while to get used to this. In my younger days I swear they would speed up. As an aside, I live walking distance from Caseyā¦..so fingers crossed I donāt get ātaken outā tomorrow morning š¤Go Dees

Kane Cornes Ranks the Captains
As much as I loved to despise Toby Greene over the years for all his infamous antics. I have done the big turnaround. Last season I thought that he did an excellent job as a leader of GWS. Not to mention he is an outstanding player. Geez, I wished they beat Collingwood in the finals. Sooo close

Everyone Saying We Will Drop
I think we can win the big one this year but Iām a realist. There is always an element of luck (particularly with injuries). Bring it on. Canāt wait. As an aside, last season I was really torn about who I would barrack for if it ended up a Collingwood v Carlton GF. (I detest both teams). Problem now solved. After experiencing both sides supporters in two finalsā¦..if it aināt us in 2022, anyone except Collingwood. Their supporter base on average are pure scum.

How did you become a Demon?
As a four year old to immigrant parents in 1964 my mother gave me a Hawthorn jumper and a Melbourne jumper to my older brother. Logic being neither jumper had white in it, easy to keep clean. The Dees won the flag and I deserted Hawthorn like the plague and made the switch to the mighty Dees. 12 Hawthorn premierships later I luckily (and legally) managed to be in Perth in 2021 to see the mighty Dees snag the big one. It was worth the wait. Go Dees!!

Can I add that little twerp that wears his old manās footy shorts when he gets a game for the Filth (Ginnivan) to the list?
