I sincerely hope that discussions on ‘loading’ doesn’t get out too much into mainstream media.

NON-MFC: Round 20, 2022
Agree, he really goads me. His antics were that bad (and obvious) that the umpires had to reinterpret the rule for head high tackles. And the way he hammed it up to the crowd. Huge risk and now he is paying the price. Perhaps he should have been told by the Collingwood hierarchy many weeks ago to pull his head in just even a little (excuse the pun). But of course they didn’t do a thing. As I said in an earlier post, he can choose to change his ways. This I think will be very difficult to do because the Filth crowd erupt into a frenzy every time he goes near the footy. As someone said in a earlier post, it will be interesting to see how the umpires treat him this coming Friday. And I wonder why I hate Collingwood so much.😡

NON-MFC: Round 20, 2022
Poor old Ginnivan expressing concerns about his mental health. I’ll give some advice. Change your ways. How about not continually trying to seek out free kicks every bloody time you are near the ball by dropping your knees you little piece of $h!t. Talk about mental health concerns. I didn’t think I could hate the Filth anymore (particular focus on the vast majority of their moron supporters that attend their games and one player, guess who?) than what I have over pretty much most of my life. I was wrong.

The pow wow
Totally agree. It would be foolhardy to bare your ‘inner club strategies’ for the want of better words to the media, footy fans and us the MFC supporters. Put simply, it would be counter productive and damaging. I personally like the team values mantra that Goody goes on about in press conferences. It says everything and gives nothing away. The inner ‘workings’ of the club must always be kept covert.

The pow wow
I’m with you, so the only realistic option is to try and go with the flow. Having said that when we go all the way again this year it will make it seem that little bit sweeter. And I’m already gearing up for 2023, I can already feel the hate coming our way….. winners are grinners .GO DEES

Farewell Luke Jackson
After the Freo game the choice that Jacko has to make about his future must seem clearer to him. Go to Freo, and get paid the big bucks and that more likely than not is about it……..or Stay with the Dees, earn less (but still good money) and evolve into potentially a multiple premiership player in a champion team. I know what I would choose to do.

TEAMS: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
Makes me think back to the good old days of ‘tribal footy’ when there were 12 teams in the VFL and generally speaking we attracted the best players from SA and WA. And we played each team twice in one season! Don’t get me wrong, footy to me is like a religion and I passionately follow the mighty Demon gods and religiously turn up the hallowed turf to watch them play. I even prayed for a premiership and my prayers were answered!……however, I try not to think too much about what AFL footy is now really all about….professional entertainment. Sad but true.

Clayton Oliver: A Demon for Life
Woke up this morning and have just found out that my gas heater is stuffed and I am freezing cold , but strangely it feels like it is a most amazing day. Reckon if we now snag Gus and Dogga in the not too distant future I could even handle the power going off. Go DEES!

Might be going out on bit of a limb here. I’m a ‘loading’ believer, but I reckon we freshened up a little for this game. I hope we resume loading up for the next few games and taper from around end of July. May end up chewing my nails to the quick and see us lose a game or two. I am happy to see workmanlike performances for the next month or so No point peaking right now and showing the opposition how good we really can be when we get going. That is for later on in the season- my wish being that when we begin the tapering process we smash sides like Collingwood and Carlton leading into the finals. Having said all that, what I saw tonight was definitely shades of what we did last year, and wasn’t it great.

CHANGES: Rd 16 vs Adelaide
Agree, no change for next week. As an aside I heard Neal Bullen say on ABC radio after the game that Viney’s speech to the players prior to the game and at half time was inspirational. Just like Gawney in last year’s GF told the coaches to keep Jacko on the ground in the centre bounces in the 3rd quarter I wouldn’t put it past him to let Viney speak to the playing group come this GF when we are playing whoever if he thinks it will help the crew.

GAMEDAY: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
In my younger days I used to go through Cranny to do a bit surfing down at the Island and think, what a [censored] hole, who the hell would want to live there. Years later, that is where I live! When I went down to the shops I used to say to my wife, look at all the ferals, they must all barrack for Collingwood. My wife put me nicely back in my place saying ‘you look no different to them’!🫣 That took the wind out of my sails.

Hope Big Max doesn’t have a quiet month, otherwise I can just imagine how some will start a thread saying he should consider retiring!

Low Attendance
Regarding your attitude about not giving the Filth any of your hard earned money- honourable. Presume you are not a member (because we can get in to this game as a ‘replacement game’ or whatever the terminology is). Something you might want to consider. MFC had a $65 Demon Spirit Membership offer for the remaining home games including the Queens birthday clash. That way you can get to see the Filth lose to us and bring you great joy. If not financially in a position to consider this option, apologies in advance, I’m sure you’ll be barracking hard in front of a telly somewhere. GO DEES

We will murder the filth on Monday.
What a week! The players appear to be galvanising, so should we as supporters, I’m going to back them by turning up this Monday. Let’s not forget who we are up against, it is our (or at the very least my) arch enemies. Don’t care if we have injuries, suspensions or are loading- I want Collingwood but in particular their feral supporters and that little frosby flopping, free kick seeking piece of peroxided excrement, Ginnivan to suffer a humiliating defeat (whether it be by one point or 10 goals I don’t care), just so long as it cuts to the bone. You can’t experience this type of pleasure by watching it on TV or Kayo, you got to be there! GO DEES!!
