Clarry and Tracc have been massive positives But not sure about Ed and Rivers as centre bounce midfielders I don’t think Ed has the power and evasiveness to play the role, and I think unfortunately Rivers has been found out against the better midfields (despite his strong showing against weaker ones)

Season lives and dies on JVR and Pickett picking up slack in our fwd line - our only genuinely threatening tall and small respectively

Not a bad debut at all! And from following a few of the other practice matches it seems like he had one of the better stat lines of the other rookies who played I reckon we’ve got one here

I personally didn’t see his pace as an issue at all He’s not quick but he’s got high footy IQ and great positioning - it’s almost like he knows he’s not quick but can use his smarts find space Had an absolutely beautiful lace out kick inside 50 at one point too

Langford, Sharp and one of AJ/Jefferson would be my tip, with Henderson a smokey considering Kozzy and Kolt won’t be available, and question marks over Spargo

Love Green as a player but it’s a huge win for us They’ll need Cogs and Kelly to play like they did five years ago or guys like Callaghan to make the step up to match us in there Of course they can still beat us on the outside, but we’ll take what we can get!
