Not a bad debut at all! And from following a few of the other practice matches it seems like he had one of the better stat lines of the other rookies who played I reckon we’ve got one here

I personally didn’t see his pace as an issue at all He’s not quick but he’s got high footy IQ and great positioning - it’s almost like he knows he’s not quick but can use his smarts find space Had an absolutely beautiful lace out kick inside 50 at one point too

Langford, Sharp and one of AJ/Jefferson would be my tip, with Henderson a smokey considering Kozzy and Kolt won’t be available, and question marks over Spargo

Love Green as a player but it’s a huge win for us They’ll need Cogs and Kelly to play like they did five years ago or guys like Callaghan to make the step up to match us in there Of course they can still beat us on the outside, but we’ll take what we can get!

Been big on Henderson since last year and was surprised when we took AJ over him with our last pick Perhaps now a chance to reunite a couple of Bees!

I can’t speak for anyone else but I’d be lying if I said this wasn’t a part of my thinking No disrespect to Luker but it was a near zero chance he’d be playing AFL this year, and now it’s unclear at what point he’ll return to even playing in the VFL I’d still like to keep him on the list to let him develop, but I think adding two ready made players in Culley and potentially Henderson could really strengthen our depth in a way a developing tall simply can’t Plus we’ve seen the type of impact these guys can have at a contending club (think Markov at the Pies or Mannagh at Geelong), and I think we’ve been sorely lacking in this recruiting space recently When life gives you lemons make lemonade

Yeah you’d think he’d be more likely to play AFL minutes over there than with us, but I’d hope the club would keep his name in mind should Shane be moved to the LTI

I’d actually be really keen to add Jack Henderson and it seems there’d be a clear role for him to play with Shane out for the year and Kolt and Spargo still some time away I was actually surprised we didn’t draft him with our last pick in the national draft following the reports linking him to us - although we did opt for his Werribee teammate in AJ!

We haven’t added Culley yet (and Shane isn’t on the LTI yet) so there’s every chance George could still be added

Never said he didn’t 🤷‍♂️ Footy players can want to play elsewhere but still show their best on field and I expect him to do exactly that this season
