  1. And yet Carlton have 80K despite doing nothing since 2013.
  2. Makes this Sunday’s game absolutely critical to win given we have May and Fritsch also out for Richmond. You know Fritta’s stocks have risen in a short time as his omission (for sleeping in) against St Kilda last year barely raised an eyelid around here.
  3. Hopefully he'll be back for Richmond.
  4. I think that's a tough assessment of Langdon's 2020. Aside from the pre lockdown MCG games where he was very quiet against Geelong and Richmond, he had a very good 2020 season and played some great games such as his 2 goal performance against Collingwood. Was correctly rewarded with a 4th or 5th placed finish in the B & F. The only step backwards he took was kicking way less goals.
  5. Hoping for an ugly and unconvincing Richmond 6 point win over St Kilda. Lose and it will be a line in the sand game for Richmond on Anzac eve. Win convincingly and they’ll be back to their super confident best. Also think the Giants might knock off Sydney.
  6. Luke Jackson is a star because he allows Gawn to be even more of a star.
  7. No way May plays against Richmond if they've quoted 2-4 weeks. Hopefully he'll be back for the Sydney game which will be a massive one.
  8. Any idea why they closed every level 4 area aside from the MCC on one of Melbourne's wettest days of 2021 so far, last Sunday?
  9. I'd ensure we have enough in the cap to pay for Salem before I'd start thinking about Merrett.
  10. Glad it wasn’t the other way around.
  11. His position in the side is invaluable as it’s allowing Gawn to play career best footy.
  12. Not sure if it was due to COVID or a cost cutting exercise but it was poor form to have the top level closed on a very wet day.
  13. And since his comments we've gone 10-3.
  14. Who was the turkey that wrote that?
  15. I loved his comments after that particular debacle and I loved his scathing comments during his B & F speech re: missing finals.
  16. Well done to the MCG for closing the top level of the southern and ponsford stand last week (where most seats are under cover) despite it raining for most of the game.
  17. To Hawkins's credit he did approach May to see if he was ok.
  18. And as per 2019, club are kicking amazingly accurate scores against us. I mean who kicks just 2 behinds in a game! And Geelong didn't score a behind in the middle 2 quarters.
  19. Outstanding game of footy by Petracca yesterday and clearly one of the best of his career. Looked "on" from the first minute. Listening to him in the Ch 7 post game interview, and I know words aren't everything, but that appeared to be a player that is heavily invested in his footy club and won't be going anywhere else anytime soon.
  20. Kudos to the MCC for closing level 4 of the southern stand on a wet afternoon
  21. I guess they’ve weighed up that a couple of Melksham potential goals and one or two of his immaculate inside 50 entries outweighs a few pressure acts from Sparrow. Either way I don’t think Sparrow and Melksham are going to be the difference between a win and a loss.
  22. St Kilda reek of Melbourne 2019. Pre season injuries, lack of hunger, bath water etc...
  23. If that’s indeed Philip in the photo, he’d be the oldest looking 50 year old I’ve ever seen.
  24. You’d have to wonder if they stuck with Rioli and Caddy over debuting those 2 youngsters the result would’ve been different?
