TICKETING: Rd 11 vs Western Bulldogs
They’ll probably play it at Metricon so Brisbane don’t get the home ground “advantage”

COVID & AFL 2021
Yep this weekend. Pies to Adelaide the following weekend.

Probably to Metricon and the GABBA again.

COVID & AFL 2021
Collingwood playing Adelaide on Saturday week over there. Would be interesting to see how that one plays out.

Slow off the Mark; Our First Quarters
Agreed. Salem was solely responsible for getting us back into the game against Richmond mid way through the 1st qtr. He is such a steadying influence down back and now a high possession/high efficient player - a lethal combo. We thought he'd be sorely missed in the Adelaide game, and was.

Friday night football start time change? (but not this week)
Any idea when the 7:20pm starts commence? Not that we ever play Friday night games, but I actually prefer the 7:50 later starts. Plenty of time for dinner and a couple of frothies after work and you're not rushed.

COVID & AFL 2021
The under 40's brigade should be able to get a jab now if there is ample supply.

TICKETING: Rd 11 vs Western Bulldogs
Yep, they could do a direct swap and play the Dees V Dogs game in round 20 at Marvel, which only has 2 games on that weekend in late July. Having said that, it sounds like a lock down could be a possibility as it stands right now.

COVID & AFL 2021
Went to Collingwood V Port last Sunday and the bottom level of the AFL members was pretty much full capacity, barely a spare seat. And yet the top level was closed off. I just don't get it. Prioritising reduced costs over potential health and COVID risks.

TICKETING: Rd 11 vs Western Bulldogs
I can handle not going to the game if it’s a snap lock down, which may end up happening. But it’s a bit silly not having crowds but yet allowing everyone to sneeze and cough over each other at workplaces. I’m stunned we’re allowed to go into the office today.

COVID & AFL 2021
I was at that game but luckily sitting in the AFL members. The exposure site was M1 to M16z Got a message from the DHHS to monitor for symptoms.

TICKETING: Rd 11 vs Western Bulldogs
50% capacity is my tip. Just a guess. Crowd would only be 35K tops if 100% capacity. Marvel crowds have been woeful this year.

Round 10 Coaches Votes - Oliver Leads
Could have as many as 21 brownlow votes after round 10.

Umps got it wrong - need a please explain
It wouldn’t happen in a grand final. The 3 best umpires in the country are selected to officiate the grand final and they wouldn’t make this kind of howler.

Umps got it wrong - need a please explain
The HTB rule is so inconsistent and is the one rule the umpires simply can't get their heads around. It's an absolute lottery and unfortunately we were on the wrong end of the call in that last 90 seconds.

Umps got it wrong - need a please explain
Can anyone confirm if the umpire who didn't pay the deliberate was Mollison (267 games), Deboy (117 games) or Gavine (79 games) Was expecting the umpire to be a rookie in his first or second year but all of these guys have umpired at least 1 final.

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs Adelaide
Our best wins this year against Richmond and Geelong have come about when we've had T Mac, Fritta and a resting ruck as our talls. Perhaps drop Weid and don't replace him with a tall.

You're dead right. I knew it was Ticketmaster, but for some reason typed Ticketek. Wish I could edit my post.

Umps got it wrong - need a please explain
I think therein lies the problem and that's what may have convinced the umpire to pay deliberate. The fact that he saw Doedee chasing after the ball as it trickled out of bounds. Usually when these deliberates are paid on the goal line there's no team mate from the same side chasing after the ball or a player being in the vicinity of the ball going out. Unfortunately Doedee was both and one could argue it was smart play by Doedee to be near where the ball trickled out. Unless the AFL deem that the Spargo deflection made the call correct, I'm trying to understand from the umpires perspective why he didn't play deliberate. If it was because he was too scared to make a call in front of the home crowd, then he simply won't be umpiring finals this year and will be doing a lot North Melbourne off broadway games for the rest of the year.

Umps got it wrong - need a please explain
Morris could be wrong with the rule, but he's trying to say that if the AFL can prove that if even if the ball hit Spargo's finger nail accidently, then it can't be deliberate because technically Spargo was the last player to touch the ball before it went out of bounds. The AFL will confirm their position today but I hope the decision is deemed correct. Would not make me feel one iota better if the AFL confirm it was the incorrect call. Also I know I'm clutching at straws here but Doodee was kind of in the vicinity of the area where the ball went out of bounds so the umpire may have given the Crows player the benefit of the doubt. Usually when these deliberate calls are made, there's no player in cooee of the ball going out. We should've been awarded the holding the ball call with a minute left, and quite frankly we should've won the game by 5 goals and hence not have to worry about these decisions.

Umps got it wrong - need a please explain
Tom Morris saying the decision was technically correct as it was deflected off Spargo. It can’t be paid deliberate if it’s deflected off an opponent. The umpire will dodge a bullet on a technicality, as he was technically correct.

I want a please explain from Hunt, Fritsch, T Mac, Weid amongst others who were diabolical yesterday.

CHANGES: Rd 11 vs Western Bulldogs
He looks as happy as Larry on the bench. Would be surprised if his injury is anything serious.

CHANGES: Rd 11 vs Western Bulldogs
Hunt and Fritta will be discussed at selection. Both were disgraceful today. Fritsch 2/3 shockers which was what BBB produced before his omission.

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs Adelaide
If the Dees treated the Crows with a bit of respect and not half arsed it for most of the night then the last couple of decisions wouldn’t have mattered.
