  1. All Richmond have to do is lose to one of Geelong, Brisbane or GWS up there and they’ll miss top 4. No side in the 18 club era has made top 4 with 14 wins.
  2. He applied for and received the “arrogant nob” exemption for not wearing a mask.
  3. Another for the BT Friday night files: “Richmond started the season 2-0 and have gone 5 and 11 since”
  4. Exactly. Collingwood were apparently far more motivated than us, but that needs to stop as we head into the business end of the season.
  5. Geez all this talk about Essendon being even more motivated to win tomorrow night if Richmond gets done - I almost want Richmond to come back and win.
  6. I'd personally rather play Geelong at the G than Brisbane at the Gabba if given the choice in finals.
  7. and kicked 5 against us on Q'BDAY 2018.
  8. Or a 4:35pm to throw a spanner in the works.
  9. This is good. I want WC as far away as the top 4 as possible and KP is the last venue they'd want to play Sydney at who have a fantastic record down there.
  10. Harsh but fair call. He really let us down last game and I thought he’d be omitted. There was another youngster with a much higher profile that would also want to make amends this week.
  11. I think T Mac’s mind was elsewhere against Collingwood which was understandable. Lets hope for a far better showing from him this week.
  12. JB: This to give Brisbane a 51 point lead. (in reference to a Brisbane player shooting for goal with the score at 81-38)
  13. There’s a bit of speculation around town that Collingwood will be playing St Kilda next Sunday at the MCG, which would mean we’ll play GWS in one of the Saturday time slots, maybe even the twilight.
  14. I reckon Jones has still got a few games in him. We need senior hardened men out there as we grind through the July and August months and we can't afford some of our younger players to repeat what they dished up against Collingwood over the coming weeks.
  15. Yeah, hope the Cats get up tonight to ensure interstate sides stay away from the top 2. Which means they’ll lose.
  16. I disagree. The AFL has a battle on in its hand to keep the season alive with state governments closing borders at the drop of a hat, and will be releasing fixtures a week at a time. Therefore in the interests of keeping the season going, a 5 day break for the Dees will be a distant consideration by the AFL.
  17. I can't make it on Saturday night regardless of cap, but it's going to be a nervous wait for other AFL members ticket holders such as yourself and Praha, considering Essendon probably have 6,000 - 8,000 AFL Essendon member club support. You'd think 2,500 - 4,000 AFL members will be allocated tickets to only Dons and Dees support packages.
  18. Really good call that. There's no reason why that game could not have been played down in Geelong which is an under utilised stadium IMO and one that has improved significantly as an AFL venue over the last few years. Having said that GWS would back themselves in to beat a struggling Hawthorn at the MCG and they won't mind playing back to back games at the G.
  19. Looks about right. Perhaps a fraction more AFL and MCC members and a fraction less club members I reckon.
  20. It's too far for Saty to take the old scooter from Richmond to East Cranbourne.
  21. We've followed regional VIC in pretty much every step out of lock down 4. Therefore, I can't see how they'll allow anything more than 20% this weekend which was what they had for Geelong V Dogs last Friday night. Next week V GWS, I'm sure they'll allow 50% if we continue this positive trend of 0 cases or 1 linked case a day.
  22. Therein lies the problem. I think it is for some.
  23. No, but I reckon they'll give the majority of members tickets to the home team.
