I mentioned this in another thread about the Giants. Their 7-8 record flatters them. Sydney, Geelong and us all kicked themselves out of the contest against them and they were supremely accurate in all those games. Not sure if that’s sustainable.

Dogs need some goal kicking contribution from their midfield. Their goals have come from only JUH, Naughton and Weightman.

I'd entertain the option if you've got the liquidity now. You'll absolutely get reimbursed (in theory) if Collingwood make it. Not that I encourage scalping as it's illegal, but grand final tickets are going to be the most in demand in the history of the AFL/VFL due to Collingwood's phenomenal crowd pulling factor. Collingwood supporters who don't have GF guarantee will have only dreamt of paying $1,500 in July, as people will be willing to fork out astronomical amounts during grand final week.

Entertaining football sells memberships. The casual arm chair supporter isn't going to take out a membership and subsequently attend our remaining home games if we're going to continue to kick 6 to 8 goals a game.

I'd have a very poor attitude if I was dropped after being a key member and contributor towards our big statement win of the season in replacement for a player that wasn't ready for AFL footy. Tomlinson needs to leave the club for his own sake.

Can someone with far more knowledge about footy and tactics than I explain to me why Tomlinson isn’t in the side to assist May and Lever down back in order to send Petty forward to partner up with BBB…. rather than relying on Gawn or Grundy who don’t have an ounce of forward craft between them.

Higgins, Battle and Hill are handy outs. Higgins is the sort of player that will either kick 5.0 or 0.5.

I wouldn't say no. The bloke is a circus, but when you only consider his footballing ability, he's a terrific goal kicker and has a very neat 54.27 to his name.
