Tom Lynch is an over paid front runner. Weak as pizz when needed

TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Richmond
I believe the AFL has its own protocols that might be different from the new Vic and NSW rules. Probably to keep the 18 clubs on the same page, abundance of caution, etc. Would've thought if they can do a captains run they'd be playing, but who knows

Someone has to start in the goal square after each of our 30 goals this week!

Only a handful of years ago we had zero quality depth. I shakes me head at how times have changed!

TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Weid gets to good positions but needs to hang onto more marks. Playing up the ground a bit more (and BBB more from the goal square) i think will suit Weid. Gets him involved in the game, takes the pressure off him to kick a bag. If he increases goal assists, who cares who kicks them. 10 goals from different players in the 3rd last week illustrates this Happy that the club put faith in him and dropped Tmac. Will put a rocket up both of them

TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Richmond
...or for COVID protocols The gist of my post wasn't far off the mark! Lever out, BBB in, 3 tall forwards stretching the Tiger's backline

Ranking the Wing Dynamic Duos
And haven't we traded in some rolled, gold beauties in the last few years? May, Langdon, Lever, Ben Brown Before that Hibberd, Milkshake and Lewis Arguably the only one I can remember that didn't work out for us over that time was KK and perhaps Preuss Remember the days of James Sellar, Tom Gillies, Chris Dawes, Shannon Byrnes, Mitch Clark and David Rodan? Some were good players at their peak, sadly not for us

CHANGES: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Match ups with Richmond's team is important as well. I noticed that the Tigers are playing only two tall forwards atm, Balta and Lynch. The rest are small or small/med. I hope Lever gets up, but we might rest Levers ankle and go with May and Petty as our KPDs. That could give us the opportunity to bring in BBB and start TMac on the bench. HF: Jackson - Weid - Spargo FF: Pickett - Ben Brown - Fritter Inter: Tmac - ANB - Sparrow - Harmes In: Ben Brown, Out: Lever Would certainly stretch the Tiger's defence Edit. Just saw they are playing Jack Rievoldt off the bench these days, so maybe not

CHANGES: Rd 05 vs GWS
Think only the one change. Ben Brown in. Not sure who goes out, but I would rather Weid gets a run of 4-5 games. He's better as no. 2 or 3 key forward rather than the no.1 tall with Tmac running up field. Weid's best has been at the G and we have a run of games there Perhaps play Tmac off the bench

FMD, is this what we've become? Not a dig at you at all W45, but honestly, what a tangled web we've woven

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
True, but some might say that we can only go on the strength of his latest offering. So the big question is: does he hold his place? Goody seems reluctant to make too many changes to a winning team and we have BBB and Lever to come in this week, clearly part of our best 22. Is it Tmac and Hunt out? When Salem and Petty are ready it will be another selection dilemma A good place to be, especially with the ever-present threat of covid surprises.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Surely it's a given that the Club and every Dees supporter would prefer to keep Dogga if possible. He loves the group and we've had some good re-signings over the last 12-18 months It's also a given that if Dogga did decide a move to another club we would do the very best we could to maximise our reward from any deal. Of late we have an excellent track record of recruiting/drafting the right players for our list. Does anyone not have confidence in our FD to achieve one of these outcomes? At the moment, to me this is all that matters The rest is fugazi, as Goody might say

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
Said pre game to my mate that if the Weid kicks 4 does he hold his place. If so, who's spot does he take when BBB comes back? We concluded it would be Tmac. However, Weid is similar to BBB in that he mostly works from goal inside 50. Tmac has the aerobic capacity to work high and deep, and he can play back. Will be an interesting dilemma for the selection committee this week. I suspect Weid will go back to Casey. But I hope not.

Tasmanian AFL Team
I reckon Gil/AFL exec wants North or Saints to go to Tassie. Still call them NM or StK for a year or two, claim it's just playing home games there for $. Then it becomes permanent and the name changes. Tassie Kangas or Tassie Saints. A lot of detail and nuance to play out, but there's something in the air
