Sadly looks like Essendon have recruited a very good player in Caddy.

He’s still a handy player but I don’t think he is still one of the best key defender’s in the comp anymore.

Not the first time we disagree on something and that’s all good. Again I think they can play some very good football and I am certainly not thinking this is an easy game coming up. But I think there are a lot of teams with better lists than theirs.

The Saints aren’t too bad, they can play some good football at times. I think their list is one of the most middle of the road lists you will ever see though and are miles away from a Premiership.

I call bulldust on this legend. I am lucky enough to see Yellow Tail Black Cockatoos most weeks at work, hardly rained for months.

I went to that game also but to be honest I didn’t have any problems with their supporters. Had a good conversation with a couple of them walking to the ground and they couldn’t believe I flew over to the game by myself. Maybe I got lucky and met the handful of decent supporters they have. I have never been to a game where it felt our supporters really wanted to get into the game but sadly it was over before we even had a chance.

I still think we are dead for this year but I am loving the improvement we are showing and how good is winning. I think Goodwin and his coaching team need to be acknowledged for turning this around. It certainly helps when your best players are playing well. Bring on the Saints.

It’s so frustrating watching a team do so much right but not capitalise on its opportunities. Hopefully we can convert better in the second half.

It will be interesting to see if we kick better for goal with windy conditions. Could Rivers get a role on Heeney? It would be lovely to see us do something similar to what the Timberwolves are doing to OKC right now.

LJ is a very good player.

Jeff Farmer has done a good job on the Dockers jumper.

The Brisbane jumper is hard on the eyes.

I agree with some of what you said and disagree with some of it. I think all three in Lever, May and McDonald are on the fringe of selection in certain circumstances. And on current circumstances I would have left Lever out. McDonald has been one of our best this year, May is battling but wasn’t too bad last week in a team that beat one of the best on their own deck. Lever has missed a lot of footy and is generally slower to move the footy on than the other two and is not as good in one on one situations as the other two. But that’s just my opinion. I agree about the changing of the guard and I think managing that transition is one of our biggest concerns. I hope both Adam’s and Kentfield smash the door down and get a go this year.

Anyone under an injury cloud to be a late out? Truly bizarre selection imho. I personally would have given Lever another week at Casey, I also would have dropped May before McDonald.

I tipped Geelong but I will be happy if the Dogs get up. The umpiring has been dreadful as it is way too often, but the AFL will just bury their heads.

The AFL are happy to force Tasmania to spend a billion odd dollars to build a new stadium. I wish they had of done that for Geelong, it’s a shocking stadium.
