Hey, I haven’t had a coffee, NOR a cigarette yet. Snorbs Police should count themselves lucky if they’re not called out to a random homicide of an innocent person before I get to the shops.

I think the illness sweeping through the Magpies is a bigger deal than they’re letting on. I say this because four kids in my son’s year 12 class went to a meet and greet one night last week with several Collingwood players in attendance. Both Daicos boys were there. Three of the four kids fell ill within a couple of days but before they took ill they were at school as per usual. Right now my poor boy is sicker than he’s ever been before; raging red tonsils, zero energy and a loss of appetite being the main symptoms. It may be a coincidence, but it’s possibly not. edit: wrong thread. I’ve not had a coffee yet.

On Monday morning at Fed Square it’s… COME AND GRAB A SNAG IN BREAD! (Bottled water and cans of soft drink available) From 9:30-ish 100% of the proceeds will go to FightMND. Thanks to Coles donating the entire supply of sausages, onions, bread, drinks and condiments the Demon Army only have to provide the BBQs, utensils and manpower, ie, no outlay for us. Therefore there’ll be a very healthy donation going to FightMND. There will be entertainment all morning, including Neale and Bec up on the stage. At 12:30 we start the walk to the ‘G. This year we’ll have a marching band drummer accompanied by a trumpeter! 🥳 Please come and support the cause that means so much to Neale. ❤️💙

Monday’s banner is gonna look SPECTACULAR! We do loves us anything giant… the bigger the better! GIANT BEANIE!!! 🥳 Also, our giants heads will all be wearing Big Freeze beanies masterfully constructed by (among others) @DeelightfulPlay who came to banner making and slotted in perfectly. 💖 Oh and we got to eat these… They look incredible and it seemed a shame to wreck them by eating them. It was hard but we eventually managed to push through the pain and they practically disappeared into thin air. PS some eejit ate four of them, pinged off the walls for an hour and now feels sick. Pffft some people!

It was reported on the news that the pitch invader at last night’s match was caught and will face a fine of up to $5000. But… A bunch of people saw him on a tram just after it happened. Turns out he wasn’t caught at all. 😁 The AFL are so keen to discourage pitch invasion that they lied about him being nabbed.
